In May this year, after returning home from a business trip, my partner and I both felt that our home was rather deserted and lacked vitality. So, we hit it off and decided to go to a pet store to bring a little cat home to add some warmth and liveliness to our home.
The pet market at that time was very large. In the first pet store we entered, there were three kittens in one cage. The other two kittens were noisy in the cage, but there was one kitten that was quiet, not making any noise, and had extremely high looks. However, one of its eyes was constantly streaming tears, looking a bit pitiful. Nevertheless, we didn’t hesitate at all and decided to bring it home. In this way, this cute kitten became a new member of our family. Since it was very small and particularly cute when it first came to our home, we named it Dameng.
When Dameng first arrived home, it was full of curiosity about this new environment. It first ran into the toilet and wandered around. Its small figure and cute appearance really made us laugh. From then on, it began to play and grow freely in this home. One of its favorite things to do is to knead with its paws frantically. Looking at its focused and cute appearance, it seems that there is only it and its “little happiness” in the whole world.
As time went by, Dameng grew up little by little. Now, it is already a seven – month – old handsome kitten. Sometimes, looking at it playing wildly at home, my partner and I both feel that bringing it home was really the most correct decision. It is like a little angel, bringing endless joy to our lives with its liveliness and cuteness.
My phone is full of photos of Dameng. Each photo records its growth moments and cute appearance. There are pictures of it with its charming eyes open, lying in my arms; there are pictures of it confidently saying “I’m not fat, I’m really not fat”, but being so fat that it can’t even open its eyes; and there are pictures of it looking at the TV, being too sleepy to keep its eyes open. Every moment makes me feel extremely precious. Sometimes, Dameng is so cute that I feel like hitting the wall out of excitement. That kind of love really can’t be expressed in words.
Dameng also has a particularly interesting behavior, that is, it has become a “foot – nibbling maniac”. Watching it nibbling on our feet with relish, its appearance is both funny and cute, making us burst into laughter. Although it can be naughty and make a mess of the house sometimes, our love for it has not diminished at all.
Now, Dameng is on a weight – loss plan because it has grown a bit fat. Although it is a little chubby, in our eyes, it is still the cutest. We hope it can grow up healthily and happily, so we will encourage it to exercise more and control its diet. When others see Dameng, we just hope that everyone can praise it for being cute, because in our hearts, it is a unique treasure.
The arrival of Dameng has made our lives rich and colorful. Every expression and every action of it are deeply engraved in our hearts. We are willing to clean up its litter and take care of its daily life because it has become an indispensable part of our lives. In the days to come, we look forward to Dameng continuing to bring us more joy and surprises. We will also always accompany it, witness its growth, and spend every wonderful moment together.
