On a sunny day, I welcomed the little angel in my life – the cat Youyou. When I first brought her home, she was only 2 months old, a tiny ball of fur, but full of great energy. From the first moment I saw her, I was deeply attracted by her cute appearance.
Youyou has an extremely good personality and is really a clingy one. Other kittens might be scared and hide when they come to a new environment, but Youyou is completely different. As soon as she entered the house, she looked around curiously. Soon, she boldly climbed onto my shoulder and stood steadily, as if declaring that this was her territory. That night, she seamlessly integrated into my life. When it was time to sleep, she had to lie on my stomach. Her warm and soft little body filled my heart with warmth. As long as I’m at home, she follows me like a little tail. Wherever I go, she goes. From time to time, she rubs her head against my leg and makes a soft “meow” sound, asking for hugs and attention.

As time passes, Youyou has grown up slowly. The photos of her taken some time after she came home, even with poor image quality, can’t hide her cuteness at all. After a few months, Youyou’s personality has changed a bit. She is no longer as clingy as she was when she was a kitten and has become a bit aloof. However, the habit of biting people’s hands that she had when she was a child has remained. But she always bites gently, as if playing with me, and is extremely sensible. When we go to sleep at night, she competes with me for the pillow, using her little head to push hard, insisting on taking up a place on my pillow. In the morning, when she sees that I’m about to wake up, she will gently lick my forehead, waking me up in this unique way. Of course, sometimes she can be a bit naughty, biting my nose or patting me gently with her little paws, as if to say, “Master, wake up quickly and play with me!”
Now Youyou is already over 8 months old. During the National Day holiday, I took her to be sterilized. When she just woke up from the anesthesia, she became extremely fierce. Perhaps the pain in her body made her feel uneasy. But after a few days, she returned to her lively self. As soon as she put on the Elizabethan collar, she held her head high. She looked as if she was wearing a crown, being extremely arrogant and making people laugh.
Youyou is like a beam of light in my life, illuminating my ordinary days. Her cuteness, her growth and changes, and all her little habits have made me deeply fascinated. Whether it’s her clingy appearance when she was a kitten, her occasionally aloof posture when she grew up, or her arrogant look with the collar on after sterilization, I think she is the cutest cat in the world. She has become an indispensable part of my life. I will always accompany her, witness more of her growth moments, and create more beautiful memories with her.
