In my cozy little home, there lives a group of lovely cats, which bring me countless joys and surprises in my life.
The story starts when my boyfriend gave me a little silver tabby cat. At that time, there were already three British Shorthair blue cats at home, named Taizi, Wanzi, and Miaomiao respectively. The arrival of the new member made the home even more lively, and we named it Yinzi. Now, there is an “official” (Taizi), “food” (Wanzi implies delicious food), a gentle “girl” (Miaomiao), and “money” (Yinzi) at home. It feels like life has become complete all of a sudden.
Yinzi, this little guy, has the best personality in the whole family. It is like a born peacemaker and never takes the initiative to fight with other cats. If there is a conflict among the cats at home, it will always rush over to mediate in the first place. Once, Taizi and Wanzi had a dispute over a small toy. As the atmosphere was getting tense, Yinzi quickly ran over and circled around the two cats, making soft meows, as if saying, “Don’t quarrel. We are all good friends!” Soon, Taizi and Wanzi stopped fighting and dispersed separately.

When a little cat from my colleague’s home came to visit, it was very scared because of the unfamiliar environment. Yinzi showed its warm – hearted and hospitable side. It gently walked up to the little cat, sniffed it gently, and took the initiative to go down to say hello. But the little cat, because of nervousness, waved a paw at Yinzi. However, Yinzi was not angry. It still patiently stayed beside and continued to try to communicate with the other party, trying to make the guest relax.
Yinzi’s biggest advantage is that it is extremely clingy. Of course, sometimes this also becomes its “shortcoming” because it is really too clingy! It is like a child who can’t leave the adults. Wherever I go, it follows. When I watch TV in the living room, it will jump onto the sofa and snuggle up to me closely, finding a comfortable position to nest. When I cook in the kitchen, it will also circle around my feet, rubbing against my legs from time to time, as if saying, “Master, what delicious food are you cooking? I’m so looking forward to it!”
It is also a handsome guy with well – developed muscles. It is obvious that it is full of energy and loves sports usually. Whenever I sit in front of the computer to play games, it gets unhappy. It will jump onto the table, gently pat the keyboard with its paw, and meow at me, as if protesting, “Stop playing games. Play with me!” If I ignore it, it will increase its “offensive” and directly lie on the keyboard, blocking the screen, insisting that I pay attention to it.
When it comes to Miaomiao, it also has a unique story. When Miaomiao was first brought home, it was extremely timid and always hid. Every day, I could only see the food decreasing, but rarely saw its figure, so I couldn’t even take pictures of it when it was a kitten. However, as time passed, Miaomiao gradually became more cheerful and got closer to other cats and me.
Now, Taizi’s daughter has also come to the home. This new member hasn’t been named yet, but it has already brought new vitality to the home. Looking at these lovely cats, each with its unique personality, yet living harmoniously together, my heart is full of warmth and happiness. They have become an indispensable part of my life, bringing me endless joy and companionship.
