In my warm little home, there lives an extremely cute eight – month – old male cat named Zhao Dou. Since Zhao Dou came to my home, my life has been completely filled with its cuteness and naughtiness. Every day is full of joy and surprises.
Zhao Dou is like a little elf full of energy all the time, never idle for a moment. The way it does bad things is really both annoying and funny. Once, I was sitting on the sofa reading a book when suddenly I heard a strange noise. I followed the sound and found Zhao Dou standing on the table, making a mess of my stationery. When it noticed me coming, it turned its head and looked at me with those innocent little eyes as if to say, “Mom, what have I done wrong again?” Looking at its cute and stupid appearance, my originally angry mood instantly disappeared.
Zhao Dou is curious about all kinds of small objects. A small woolen ball can make it have great fun. It will keep fiddling with the woolen ball with its paws, making the ball bounce around the room, and it will chase after it happily, meowing from time to time, as if saying, “Bouncing around is so much fun! Mom, I want more!” Its energetic appearance makes the whole room full of vitality.
Zhao Dou has a very rich expression. Sometimes it pretends to be deep, sitting there seriously as if thinking about some profound problem; sometimes it strikes a dignified pose, like an elegant gentleman. However, it also likes to play tricks occasionally and make some actions that make people laugh. For example, it will imitate the appearance of Godzilla when it appears, walking around the room with its head held high and swaggering. It really looks like the big monster in the movie.
Zhao Dou also has some little habits that make people laugh and cry. It especially likes to sit in basins. Whether it’s a washbasin or a foot – washing basin, as long as it finds one, it will jump in without hesitation and then stay in it with a look of satisfaction. It also loves to lick its fur very much and spends a lot of time grooming its fur every day. The way it licks its fur is very focused, not missing any part from its paws to its body and then to its tail. Sometimes, when it is licking and suddenly finds me looking at it, it will show an embarrassed expression, as if saying, “Oh no, I’ve been caught. What should I do? Waiting online, it’s urgent!” But after a while, it will immerse itself in the world of licking its fur again.
Zhao Dou doesn’t seem to like pink very much. Once, I sewed a pink dress for it. I thought it would be cuter when it wore it, but it looked disgusted, kept scratching the dress with its paws, and meowed in dissatisfaction, as if protesting, “I’m clearly a boy. Why did mom sew me a pink dress! I’m not happy!” Looking at its arrogant appearance, I was really angry and funny at the same time.
At night when going to sleep, Zhao Dou always likes to sleep with me. It will bring its little pillow, find a comfortable position, and snuggle up to me tightly. Its warm little body makes me feel full of happiness even at night. Sometimes, when I stay up late working, it will silently accompany me, looking at me with big eyes, as if saying, “Mom, I’ll stay up late with you.”
Zhao Dou is such a charming little cat. Every move and every expression of it can make me feel endless joy. It’s like a little angel, adding countless colors to my life with its innocence and cuteness. I often think that if I could give it all the dried fish in the world to make it happy every day, that would be great. Because it deserves all my love to care for and accompany. In my heart, it is the cutest little baby in the world.
