Last November, I was deeply trapped in the shadow of a broken relationship. The whole world seemed to be covered in a gloomy haze, and my life lost its luster. To find some comfort for myself, I decided to get a small pet to accompany me through this tough time. Initially, I had my heart set on an American Shorthair. I imagined having a beautiful American Shorthair cat with its lovely patterns, which would bring new vitality to my life.
However, fate is always full of wonderful twists. When I walked into the pet store, among numerous cute little animals, I saw Tangyuan at the first glance. Its cute appearance seemed to have a special magic that made me unable to take my eyes off it immediately. At that moment, I strongly felt that it was waiting for me, waiting to enter my life and become a part of it. So, without hesitation, I spent nearly 1000 yuan more and brought it home.
When I first brought Tangyuan home, its eyes were purely blue, just like two crystal-clear sapphires, full of innocence and naivete. As time went by, its eyes began to show amazing changes. Now, the color of its eyes changes with the time of day. In the morning, they are deep blue, and by noon, they gradually turn into a fresh green. I often joke that it might have been a chameleon in its previous life, otherwise, how could it have such magical eyes?
With my careful care, Tangyuan has become fatter and fatter. Its round body, paired with an extremely cute round face, is so charming in every move that people can’t help but want to hug and kiss it. As a person who loves photography, I naturally won’t miss the opportunity to record every beautiful moment of Tangyuan’s growth. From time to time, I take some artistic photos of it. In front of the camera, it is sometimes playful and cute, and sometimes lazy and comfortable. Each photo freezes its unique charm.
Tangyuan has a very gentle and obedient personality. At home, it has never done things that naughty cats usually do, such as pushing cups or cosmetics. The eyebrow pencils, mascaras, and other makeup items I use are casually placed on the table. Every time it jumps onto the table, it will carefully avoid these things, as if it knows they are very important to me. However, Tangyuan is very fierce to strangers. I remember when I took it to get a haircut in summer, its fierce look scared the owner’s family in the pet store. In fact, it is just putting on a show. It only makes a lot of noise but doesn’t actually hurt anyone.
Tangyuan is still the wallpaper of my computer. Its cute appearance appears in front of me every day, starting my new day. Although it wakes me up on time every morning as my “morning call”, refuses to be hugged by me in summer because of the heat, and is not as smart and witty as some cats on Douyin, who can perform various interesting skills. But I have never regretted bringing it home. It accompanies me in its own way and heals me. When I am lonely and sad, it gives me warmth and comfort. I love my cat Tangyuan. It has become an indispensable family member in my life and the most beautiful existence in my life.
