The Surprising Closeness between Little Luoyang and Mother

The Surprising Closeness between Little Luoyang and Mother

On the contrary, my mother didn’t have a good impression of Little Luoyang from the very beginning. Before Little Luoyang came to my home, when I told my mother that I was going to keep a cat, what did she say? “If you keep it, I’ll throw it out.” Fortunately, my mother wasn’t that cruel and didn’t actually throw Little Luoyang out. However, my mother was still rather indifferent towards Little Luoyang. When Little Luoyang defecated, it was my mother who first shouted about the stink.

When Little Luoyang was being playful and knocked things down, it was my mother who first complained to me, saying, “Look at your cat. It’s being naughty again.” When Little Luoyang drank water from the toilet, it was my mother who first commented that Little Luoyang was not clean, saying, “This cat seems to like drinking toilet water. It has no sense of hygiene at all.” When Little Luoyang shed hair, it was my mother who first found it troublesome, saying, “The newly washed sofa cover is full of cat hair, and the bed is also covered with cat hair.” What’s more excessive is that later, when my mother went out, she would close the door of her room, not allowing Little Luoyang to enter.

She knew very well that Little Luoyang liked to sleep in the basket on the bay window in her room, but because she was afraid of cat hair, she deprived Little Luoyang of this hobby. During meals, Little Luoyang would jump onto the table, wanting to eat and sniff around. It was my mother who first objected, shouting, “The cat, the cat wants to eat. Don’t let it touch the food…” Moreover, my mother even said that she would give Little Luoyang to her grandson and threatened Little Luoyang that if it wasn’t obedient, she wouldn’t feed it.

In short, such things are too numerous to mention. There are simply countless examples.

However, in recent days, why has Little Luoyang been getting closer and closer to my mother? I usually surf the Internet in my room, and my mother watches TV outside. But Little Luoyang just doesn’t stay by my side. Instead, it insists on lying beside my mother to sleep. When I bring it in, it reluctantly lies down for a while. Then, when I’m not paying attention, it runs out again to be next to my mother. Last night, when my mother went into the room to sleep, Little Luoyang actually followed her in.

When I saw it following my mother, I called it, asking it to come into my room. But it just looked at me indifferently and then followed my mother. Finally, it slept next to my mother, completely ignoring my feelings of being hurt. This morning, it didn’t squat at the door of my room waiting for me. Instead, it squatted at the door of my mother’s room. When I came out, it didn’t run over to rub against me and ask for my touch as it used to. But when my mother came out, it ran up to her, rubbing against my mother’s legs and purring non – stop. And my mother, she has been treating Little Luoyang better and better, almost regarding Little Luoyang as her own exclusive cat.

If it were just that my mother loves Little Luoyang, I wouldn’t be surprised. Little Luoyang is so cute that who couldn’t love it? But Little Luoyang, why do you abandon me and cling to my mother instead? You should know that I have treated you extremely well, while my mother treated you so poorly before! If you had a bit of memory, you should know that at the beginning, my mother didn’t love you very much. After all, do you have a short memory and have you forgotten what happened before?
