In the life of my husband and me, Xiaodoufu is like a shining star, adding countless lusters to our ordinary days. Now, Xiaodoufu is already 9 months old. Looking back on the little bits and pieces since she came to our home, my heart is filled with warmth and emotion.
I still remember when Xiaodoufu first came to our home. The little her seemed a bit timid. Although she bravely went to bed on the first day, for a long time, she was not very close to people and always refused our touches and hugs. My husband and I are usually busy with work. We can only accompany her when we get home from work from Monday to Friday. Every time we open the door and see Xiaodoufu’s small figure waiting for us at the door, a pang of heartache wells up in our hearts. At that time, she was like a lonely little angel, carefully exploring in this strange environment.
As time goes by, Xiaodoufu gradually got used to this home and also showed the naughty nature of a cat. Like other cats, she likes to play with napkins and always makes the napkins all over the floor. She is also keen on jumping to high places, as if there is a mysterious world she yearns for there. Once, she even accidentally broke a vase, but this little clever ghost was never caught by us at the scene of the crime, making it impossible for us to teach her a lesson. Nevertheless, watching her grow up day by day, from the little one who first came to our home to the chubby one she is now, we are full of relief. It really feels like watching our own daughter grow up little by little.
Now, Xiaodoufu has become an indispensable part of our lives. She is getting closer to us day by day. As soon as we call, she will run over happily. Of course, if there is the temptation of delicious food, she may rush towards the food first. When sleeping, she likes to be close to people the most. She especially loves to sleep between our legs, as if that is her warmest and safest haven. Every morning, she will wake us up with her gentle meows, which is her way of inviting us to play with her. Moreover, Xiaodoufu is very obedient when it comes to getting her nails clipped and taking a bath. She always cooperates with us obediently, saving me a lot of trouble.
The existence of Xiaodoufu not only brings us joy but also gives us spiritual comfort when we face work frustrations and life difficulties. Whenever I see her cute appearance, all my troubles seem to disappear. I can’t help but sigh that fate has been so kind to me, allowing me to have such a little darling. In order to let Xiaodoufu live a better life, my husband and I are full of motivation every day and work hard to make money, just to be able to buy more delicious food for her.
