This is my little Shadow~, also known as Sha Dou in Chinese, hahaha. It doesn’t sound like a girl’s name, but I just love it.
When she first arrived, she meowed non-stop in her cage, like a little baby. She was so scared that her voice became hoarse.
When she got home, she hid under the table and refused to come out. I had to pull her out, and she cautiously sniffed me repeatedly. Within half an hour, she trusted me and became attached.
This little kitten is super clingy! She follows me everywhere. At night, she refuses to sleep in her own bed—she insists on staying close to me. When I’m on the computer, she sleeps at my feet if she’s tired. On the first night, I tried keeping her in her own room, but she kept meowing.

Eventually, I let her into my room. She didn’t jump on the bed but slept on a chair next to me the whole night. Whenever she woke up, she would stare at me. In the morning, when I stretched and yawned, she knew I was awake and happily meowed, wagging her tail as she pounced on me. Whenever I go to the bathroom or take a shower, she waits outside the door.
When she first arrived, she was only the size of a slipper and was incredibly vain—she loved looking in the mirror.
Now, at three months old, she’s still very clingy. Whenever I sleep, she insists on climbing onto the bed and snuggling next to me.
These two photos make it look like she’s trying to sneak a picture of me sleeping without makeup:

Lately, I’ve been going through a tough time, feeling very down due to some personal issues. I feel like I’m on the verge of depression. I’m truly grateful to have this little cat by my side, keeping me company and making me feel less alone. My wish is simple: I want you to eat well, sleep well, stay healthy, avoid accidents, and just keep being by my side. Can you do that, my little Sha Dou?
