I’ve watched him grow up day by day. Although this cat is quite silly, he often gets poop on his right paw when pooping and always bumps into the wall when he’s being crazy. However, when I sleep, he’ll always stay by my side and rub his little head against my face. You’d willingly exchange 99 parts of hard work for this one part of happiness. After all, I used to be a big fan of Golden Retrievers and Huskies and never thought about getting a cat. But raising a cat is really a happy thing, though it’s also quite expensive. Most cat owners would rather live frugally themselves but provide the best food and things for their cats.
Enough of the chitchat. Let me introduce this “Mantou” according to a timeline.
October 18, 2017: I bought a British Shorthair blue – and – white cat from a friend. He was less than three months old and came to me by plane.
I had named him Mantou a long time ago.
Here’s a cute photo taken recently. He’s probably a little over four months old, but he still doesn’t seem to have grown much.
The first day at home: He was very timid.
He also really liked looking at himself in the mirror.
Since I’d never raised a cat before, I just stroked him. At first, when he purred, I thought he was uncomfortable.
I first kept him at my boyfriend’s place. After two days, I brought him to my own home. Then he became timid again.
He kept looking around.
He always liked to climb into the cabinet to “contemplate cat life”.
I always had to drag him out of the cabinet.
I took him out to soak up the sun.
Haha, his pink little paw pads and nose.
I made emojis of him. He looks so ugly when he’s sleepy.
If he’s not well – behaved, I’ll put him in the cage.

The first time I took him to take a bath and have a grooming session: He was having his nails clipped.

He got a mild case of cat ringworm. Haha, with the collar on, he was less naughty. I sprayed some Piteffin on him for a few days. Because of diarrhea, he got poop all over his collar. This is the most annoying thing about this cat. From then on, as long as his poop is a bit soft, his paws will definitely get soiled. When you’re still sleepy in the morning and hear him digging in the cat litter, you’ll instantly wake up. You have to check if his paws are dirty. If not, you can go back to sleep peacefully. If so, well, forget about everything else and take him to the bathroom for a battle.
He’s really a “useless” cat.
He looks so harmonious in the photo with the hair dryer because he hasn’t used it before. After using it once, he’ll attack it every time he sees it.
During that diarrhea episode, half of his body was covered in poop. I contacted the pet hospital, and they said he couldn’t take a bath because he hadn’t finished his vaccinations. I had to wash him myself. T.T The smell of the poop was so bad that I even wanted to throw this cat away.
Oh well, I sacrificed my bath towel.
When I was on my period, my boyfriend brought me three cups of ginger tea. He just sat there and wouldn’t leave. Is he pretending to be a cashier?
Every time I take a photo of him, he seems like a different cat.
I sent him to a friend’s place before going on a trip.
My friend has a LiHua cat. Yes, Mantou stole the limelight.
He stepped in poop again right after taking a bath. He even smelled it himself.

At first, I thought he lost his teeth because he was running around the room too naughtily. Later, I learned that cats also change their teeth.
He’s missing one tooth on each side.
Haha, he was in so much pain that he just lay on my lap looking miserable.
