In the world of pet keeping, every pet owner has their own unique pursuits and preferences. For me, my love for rare – colored Siamese cats is like an adventure full of challenges and surprises.
In my hometown, Siamese cats are not a rare sight, but unfortunately, almost all of them are the common seal point color. Trying to buy a rare – colored Siamese cat in the same city is as difficult as looking for a needle in a haystack. I’ve always been skeptical about buying pets online. After all, you can’t see or touch them, and there’s no guarantee. I’ve heard stories of people buying pets online, only to receive cats that were far from what the sellers described, and some even had serious health problems with no easy way to seek compensation. That’s why I prefer to pick up pets in person in the same city. When I was living in other places, I personally visited the sellers and brought my adult cats home. The biggest advantage of this approach is that if any problems arise later, I can directly communicate with the sellers. Fortunately, all the adult cats I picked up in person have been healthy, and now they accompany me every day, bringing endless joy to my life. When I moved back to Ankang, I even rented a car to bring all these precious cats home. They have long become an indispensable part of my life.

Since it was extremely difficult to buy rare – colored Siamese cats locally, I came up with the idea of breeding them myself. This decision meant that I had to invest a great deal of time, energy, and effort. Every step, from cat breeding, pregnancy care, to kitten delivery and feeding, required meticulous attention. When I first started breeding, I read all the available materials, consulted experienced cat breeders, and even attended pet breeding training courses. After many attempts and failures, my hard work finally paid off, and I successfully bred chocolate – colored and red Siamese cats. When I saw those lovely kittens being born, all the fatigue and hardship disappeared in an instant, replaced by a sense of accomplishment and joy.
However, my collection journey is not over yet. Currently, I’m still eagerly searching for a lavender – colored Siamese cat. Looking back on my experience of collecting different – colored hamsters, it’s quite amusing. To keep hamsters of various colors, I bought more than ten large cages measuring 50*100. I carefully decorated each cage to create a comfortable home for the hamsters. But as time went by and my interests shifted, these cages, which once held my hard work and love, now sit idle at home, taking up a lot of space. Despite this past experience, my enthusiasm for collecting rare – colored Siamese cats remains undiminished.
It’s the end of October 2020, and my red point and chocolate point Siamese cats are already 8 or 9 months old. They are like my precious treasures, and I love them to bits. The fur color of the red point Siamese cat is not very vibrant at the moment. I’m eagerly looking forward to the arrival of winter, wondering if its fur will become more vivid and striking after the cold weather. As for the chocolate point Siamese cat, I hope it can maintain its pure white coat and still look as pristine as when it was born after winter. On this road of breeding and collecting rare – colored Siamese cats, although it’s full of hardships and challenges, I believe that as long as there is love in my heart and enthusiasm for these lovely little lives, I will surely harvest more surprises and beautiful moments.
