Simba: A Gift of Love and Warmth

Simba: A Gift of Love and Warmth

In countless ordinary days, there are always some special gifts that can brighten up life and become the most precious treasures in our hearts. Simba, this Siamese cat given to me by my boyfriend as a Valentine’s Day gift, is such a delightful surprise full of love and warmth. It has not only accompanied me through the lonely days of living in a foreign place but also left a deep mark in my heart with its unique charm.

I still remember the first day Simba came to my home. Its tiny figure was incredibly cute, and there was a hint of “royal disdain” in its eyes, as if declaring that it was the new master of the house. However, shortly after its arrival, it encountered health problems. At that time, it was only three months old and unfortunately suffered from skin diseases. To treat it, I had to put an Elizabethan collar on it. On the first day with the collar, it was very uncomfortable, staggering around and even often walking backward.During that period, I carefully applied medicine to it every day. Although the process was long and the ringworm even infected me by accident, fortunately, after a period of meticulous care, we both recovered. This experience also deepened the bond between Simba and me.

The unique appearance of the Siamese cat is one of its most attractive features. It has a distinct black – and – white coat, with its facial features, limbs, and tail as black as ink, while the rest of its body is as white as snow, just like a carefully painted painting. As Simba grew up, every gesture of it was full of charm. Sometimes it stretched gracefully, and sometimes it jumped around playfully. During its teething period, I carefully collected the small teeth it shed. These teeth are not only a testament to its growth but also a part of the beautiful memories we shared.

Simba is like a multi – faceted elf with a very changeable personality. Sometimes, it looks innocent and harmless, quietly lying beside me and looking at me with gentle eyes. At that moment, it feels as if time has stood still. But at other times, it makes all kinds of funny expressions and actions, which are extremely hilarious. From the age of two months when it came to my home to now at nine months old, Simba has grown up astonishingly fast. With the approaching of the estrus period, it has become restless, constantly meowing outside the door every day, making it difficult for me to sleep. Although a bit helpless, I know this is a necessary stage in its growth. I will take it for sterilization surgery in a couple of days, hoping it can grow up healthy and happy.

The process of raising a Siamese cat is filled with both hardships and happiness. At the beginning, the daily tasks of cleaning the litter box, sweeping up cat litter, and maintaining indoor hygiene made me feel exhausted. I even thought it was already difficult enough to take care of myself, let alone a little cat. However, as time went by, the joy and satisfaction Simba brought me far exceeded these hardships. Every day when I come home from work, as soon as it hears the sound of the key turning, it will immediately run to the door to greet me and then roll on the ground, acting coquettishly. Looking at its cute appearance, all the fatigue of the day vanishes instantly, replaced by endless warmth and touch.

Simba is not just a pet; it is my life partner and my spiritual support in a foreign land. With its liveliness and energy, it has added countless joys to my life. With its dependence and company, it has healed all my loneliness and fatigue. Thank you, Simba, for coming into my life and making it colorful. And thank you, my boyfriend, for giving me this loving gift, which has made my days in a foreign place no longer lonely. In the days to come, I hope to create more beautiful memories with Simba and let this warmth and love continue forever.
