I truly feel like a winner in life these days, and it’s all thanks to the adorable feline friends I’ve been taking care of. I’m currently fostering two cats, and having both of them around has brought so much joy and laughter into my world. One of them is named October, and he’s been a wonderful addition to my temporary cat – caring experience. But today, I want to share the story of the other one, a charming little girl named Momo.
Momo is a little less than a year old, and she’s an absolute fairy. Every time I look at her, I can’t help but think that she’s the most beautiful cat I’ve ever seen. Her eyes are big and bright, like two precious jewels. Her fur color is just perfect, neither too light nor too dark, and her body is in an ideal shape, not too plump and not too skinny. She has long, elegant legs that make her every move look like a graceful dance.
Momo is extremely clingy. At first, I didn’t allow her to sleep on the bed. I must have shooed her off a hundred times in one night, but she was determined and would climb back up for the hundred – and – first time. In the dead of night, when she would climb onto my shoulder and nudge my chin with her head to wake me up, and I’d open my eyes to see two glowing red eyes staring at me, it was quite a startling experience. But over time, I got used to her affectionate ways.

I often help my classmate take care of Momo, and I enjoy buying her delicious food and fun toys. Both her owner and I are from the local area, and it’s been a great bonding experience for us through this little cat. Momo has a rather interesting personality. When you show her a lot of enthusiasm, she might ignore you. But if you’re busy on your phone and don’t pay attention to her for a while, she’ll come running over and start nudging you for attention. She’s truly a little cat – genius.
My dad wasn’t very fond of Momo at first and didn’t allow her on the sofa. When my mom isn’t around, she obediently lies on the floor. It seems like she knows who’s the boss in the house. As soon as she comes to my home, she goes straight to my mom, trying to get her attention. If my mom ignores her, she’ll climb onto my mom’s thigh and nudge her chin. Eventually, my mom has no choice but to pick her up. When my dad comes back, Momo hides behind my mom, using her as a shield. No matter how much my dad yells at her, she just stays put. Sometimes, my dad even ends up laughing at her stubbornness and gives up trying to chase her away.
Momo is incredibly smart. She knows how to open doors and even the cat carrier. The first time, my mom left her on the balcony for cleaning and forgot to lock the sliding door. The front door was also open, and Momo managed to push the door open just a little and slipped out. We were so worried, but luckily, we found her in a neighbor’s house on the same floor as ours. The second time, during cleaning, my mom locked her in the cat carrier and left the balcony sliding door unlocked. Again, Momo made her escape and was found upstairs, sunbathing and taking a nap. The third time, I deliberately locked her up and pretended to be on my phone, waiting for her to open the door. When she did, I gave her a light slap. After that, she seemed to hold a grudge against me and only wanted to be close to my mom. What a little rascal!
Sometimes, when I take her to my dormitory, she might not remember the people there, but she definitely remembers the location of the hamster in our dorm. As soon as she’s put down, she runs straight over and squats there, staring intently. Momo is also easy to walk on a leash. If I don’t want her to go somewhere, all I have to do is gently lift the leash, and she’ll sit down obediently. Her eyes are so beautiful, as if they contain the entire galaxy. In conclusion, Momo has brought countless wonderful memories and unique experiences to my life. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to take care of this little fairy, and I’m looking forward to more adventures with her in the future.
