My Siamese cat, October, is not only cute and affectionate but also has a rather proud side. Every day, I call out his name, “October, October,” but I’m not entirely sure if he truly knows that’s what he’s called. On the second day of our acquaintance, when I tentatively called his name, his ears would twitch, but he wouldn’t even look at me. Only after I called him about ten times would he finally come running over. At that moment, if I patted the sofa, he would understand that I was inviting him to jump up. After a week of living together, when my mom called him, he would basically ignore her, but as soon as I called, he would come right away. This made my mom extremely jealous, and we would all burst into laughter.
October’s pride is also evident in our interactions. Once, we played a game of hide – and – seek. He meowed continuously as he searched for me. Unable to find me, he was clearly getting anxious. Eventually, I couldn’t help but let out a little giggle, and he heard me. Immediately, he ran to the wardrobe, meowing for me to come out. When I emerged, it seemed as if he realized I had tricked him on purpose. Since then, on several occasions, when I suddenly couldn’t see him around the house and called his name frantically, he would suddenly appear from some hidden corner and jump onto my lap, as if he was mocking me for my panic.

Now, let’s take a look at some of his high – definition, unfiltered beautiful pictures. Please ignore my thigh in the photos. As you can see, this is our daily routine. He demands hugs everywhere. When I’m using the toilet, he won’t hesitate to jump onto my lap. It’s quite a unique experience.
Generally, when he wants a hug but I’m in the middle of doing something, I’ll hold him in a certain position so that he can sleep, and he’s very obedient. His profile is so charming that it can take your breath away. He has all kinds of cute sleeping postures. There’s one where he crosses his little paws, which is both adorable and a bit comical. Every time I see that pose, it makes me laugh.
October has truly become an essential part of my life. His proud yet endearing personality, combined with his affectionate nature, makes every day with him a new adventure. Whether it’s his cute antics, like jumping onto my lap at unexpected moments, or his little acts of showing off his “superiority” during our games, they all bring so much joy and color to my days. I’m constantly looking forward to more interesting interactions with him, and I know that as long as he’s by my side, there will always be something new and exciting happening. I can’t wait to capture more of these precious moments in my camera and share them with the world. And when my photo album is full again, I’ll surely be back to update more of our lovely stories.
