In the days spent with cats, each cat is like a unique star, shining with a special light in our lives. Take my cats Huhu and Wanzi for example. Their presence has added countless joys and warmth to my life.
Huhu, the name comes from an interesting reason. Its fur color is just like it has been mining coal, looking like a mess, which makes people laugh. Huhu is really smart, as if it has the same intelligence as humans. As long as it is a door handle that can be pressed downwards and is not locked at home, it can always jump up accurately and easily press the door open. What’s more amazing is that it has also mastered the “skill” of opening the screen window. From time to time, it slips out to explore the outside world. As a result, later, we didn’t dare to open the window openly, for fear that it would run away if we were not careful.
When it comes to Huhu’s diet preferences, it is really unique. It has a special love for sweet food, and chestnuts are its favorite. Every time when chestnuts are in season, as soon as I take out chestnuts, Huhu will immediately rush over, staring straight at them, meowing non – stop, as if urgently saying: “Give them to me quickly, I want to eat chestnuts!” In summer, fruits like watermelons, honeydews, and peaches can also make it enjoy a big meal. Moreover, its love for cat grass is beyond imagination. Every time it eats cat grass, it will purr happily, looking as if it is enjoying the most delicious food in the world. If the amount given is not enough, it will closely follow me, insisting on having enough. In contrast, cat food has a slightly lower status in its heart.
I still remember when Huhu first came to our home. It was very small and extremely cute. Its paws, ears, face, and tail were all black, while the rest of its body was as white as snow. Such a unique combination of fur colors made it stand out among many cats. As time passed, a few months later, Huhu still hadn’t completely turned black, and most of its fur was still white. It especially likes to lie on the sofa with its belly up, leisurely enjoying the relaxing time.
Huhu is also a very curious cat. As long as it sees something moving, it can’t help but take a few bites. Especially when I am writing, it always comes over and shows a strong interest in my pen. From time to time, it takes a bite, as if having an interesting “battle” with the pen. It is also keen on sleeping on the table. Once, it rolled its eyes while sleeping, and its stupid – cute appearance made me laugh heartily.
Later, Huhu’s fur color gradually darkened a bit. Although it was not very obvious, its desire for the outside world became stronger. It often lies on the window sill, looking outside intently, as if longing for the excitement outside. Last year, we thought Huhu had cat ringworm and anxiously took it to the pet hospital. As a result, after the doctor’s examination, some of its fur was shaved off. Unexpectedly, after shaving, its fur color darkened much faster, and a large part of its back turned black all of a sudden. So, friends who raise Siamese cats should pay special attention not to shave their cats’ fur easily.
In Huhu’s life, there is also a lovely little partner, Wanzi. Wanzi came to our home in September last year. When it first came, it was so small, just like a little mouse. Now, it is also growing up happily in this warm home. Huhu and Wanzi occasionally have warm interactions. They play together and sleep together. The photo of them records the precious friendship between them.
In addition to these, Huhu has a special hobby. It likes to hide in basins and has a special preference for cardboard boxes. It can be said that it loves cardboard boxes very much. Every time it sees a cardboard box, it can’t wait to get in, as if it is its exclusive castle.
Huhu and Wanzi, these two lovely cats, fill my life with their unique behaviors and lively personalities. Every move of them can make me feel endless joy and warmth. In the future days, I am looking forward to creating more beautiful memories with them.
