My Growth Journey with a Siam Cat

My Growth Journey with a Siam Cat

Under the wonderful guidance of fate, I welcomed a special little member into my life – a Siam cat. I still remember the moment when I first brought it back from the cattery. It was only two months old, and its thin figure made people feel distressed. It looked like a poor little thing suffering from long – term malnutrition. Looking closely, there were dirty things in its ears, and its stomach seemed not very good either. At that moment, my heart was filled with pity for it, and I secretly vowed to take good care of this little life.

The initial days were not easy. After about seven or eight days, it suddenly had a fever, accompanied by diarrhea, and completely lost interest in food. The whole cat looked listless. I was extremely anxious and quickly sent it to the pet hospital. When I saw the number on the scale, my heart ached even more. It was actually 0.05 kilograms thinner than when I first brought it back. The doctor immediately tested its feces and blood. After several days of careful treatment, it finally overcame the illness and recovered. At that moment, my hanging heart finally settled down.

Time flies. Another month has passed, and the once – thin little guy has grown into a half – grown “little girl”. Now, it exudes the unique vitality of a Siam cat, as lively as a little sun. It is really too clingy. It seems that I am its whole world. Wherever I go, it follows, not willing to leave for a moment. When sleeping, it must stick to me tightly. Its warm little body is like a sweet little heater, melting my heart.

However, after all, the kitten is still young and full of endless curiosity about the world. My hands and feet often become the targets of its exploration. It scratches and bites. Although it is just playing around and won’t really hurt me, at first, I was still a little scared. Later, I tried to teach it. Whenever it made a scratching or biting movement, I would scream extremely exaggeratedly. At this time, it would always look at me pitifully with its big watery eyes. Its cute appearance made me lose my temper instantly, and I couldn’t bear to be fierce to it anymore.

When it just recovered from the illness, its liveliness was even more evident, as if it had inexhaustible energy in its body. It ran around the house, like a naughty little troublemaker. When I slept at night, it also wouldn’t stop. It would jump around on my pillow for a while, then grab my hair, and even use my leg as a mountain, constantly jumping on the bed. I made up my mind and asked my friends. Unexpectedly, immediately three people expressed their willingness to adopt it. But when it really came to giving it away, I was full of reluctance. After all, during this period of getting along, we had already established a deep relationship.

Later, in order to get a good night’s sleep, I decided to train it not to get on the bed. Every time it got on the bed, I would gently spray it with a water bottle. After a period of training, the effect was remarkable. Now, as long as I raise the water bottle, it will consciously get out of bed by itself. What a smart little guy.

Now, every time I go home, as soon as I open the door, I can hear it happily meowing at the door to welcome me. Its cute appearance can instantly drive away my fatigue and troubles of the day. Having this Siam cat really makes my life extremely beautiful. It not only brings me endless joy but also makes me experience the responsibility and happiness of taking care of a little life. In the future days, I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with it and accompanying it to grow up.
