The Adorable Growth Story of My Siamese Cat, Snow Tea

After finally making the decision to bring Snow Tea, my lovely Siamese cat, into my life, our journey together has been filled with countless heartwarming and hilarious moments.

Before bringing Snow Tea home, I was eager to know more about her parents. Her mother, a blue – point Siamese, was an epitome of elegance. Although the photos failed to fully capture her grace, in person, she exuded a certain regal charm. Snow Tea’s father, a seal – point Siamese, unfortunately, the photo of him turned out blurry. At that time, since Snow Tea’s mother was still nursing and her father was in heat, he was being cared for at the girl’s boyfriend’s place. My partner and I were so curious to see what this “blurry – looking” Siamese looked like that we took a half – hour bus ride to visit him. We were amused to hear that Snow Tea’s father accompanied her boyfriend on 10 – kilometer runs every day, and as a result, he was full of muscles. His striking blue eyes were simply captivating.

Once I had Snow Tea in my arms, I was overjoyed. Since the cat carrier I had ordered was still on its way, I used a canvas bag to bring her home on the bus. I was worried that she might not adapt well, but to my surprise, she seemed quite at ease. Her bright blue eyes, as beautiful as sapphires, were full of curiosity. I couldn’t help but take numerous photos of her during the bus ride. She was so small and cute, and I couldn’t stop marveling at how beautiful she was. I also noticed a unique feature on her head – a perfect black circle, which made her look a bit like the mythical Erlang God.

When we arrived home, Snow Tea quickly showed her bold and curious nature. She was not afraid at all and kept looking around, exploring every corner of her new home. However, taking good photos of her was a real challenge as she was constantly on the move, and most of the pictures ended up blurry. My family’s initial reaction to Snow Tea was rather amusing. They all jokingly said that I had brought a black mouse home. Even my grandma, who initially questioned the idea of having a cat, gradually grew fond of her.

As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Snow Tea grew and developed her own unique personality. She was an absolute cuddle – bug, always seeking affection and attention. When I was having my special days as a girl, she would snuggle up to me, acting as a natural warm – pack. Over time, I noticed that she had a pair of sleek, black and shiny thin lips, which added to her charm. Sometimes, her upright and serious posture made her look like the heroic Black Cat Sheriff, and at other times, she resembled a vigilant police dog.

Snow Tea’s growth was also evident in her weight. From being a skinny little kitten, she gradually put on some weight, and her once – slender body now had a few rolls of adorable belly fat. One of her naughty habits was rummaging through the trash can. More than once, she made a mess of the house by scattering the contents of the bin all over the floor. One morning, I caught her in the act and made her “stand in punishment.” But instead of getting angry, I ended up finding her antics rather endearing. In fact, I even started using a new trash bag as her makeshift bed, and she seemed to love it. Her human – like lips often made me laugh out loud, as they were so distinct and gave her an almost comical expression.

I once tried putting an old dog’s bell that I used to have around Snow Tea’s neck, but a friend commented that it seemed too heavy for her. Another time, when I was doing my makeup, I playfully put some on Snow Tea, and she looked rather funny. When a Bichon came to our home for a visit, Snow Tea got so startled that she puffed up like a pufferfish, her fur standing on end and her tail looking like a blooming flower. My mom even said that she looked really cute when she was all fluffed up. Eventually, we decided to send the Bichon back as we found that dogs required a lot more energy to take care of, especially when it came to walking them.

Every day with Snow Tea is a new adventure. She has truly become an integral part of my life, bringing me joy, laughter, and countless precious memories. I look forward to all the future moments we will share together as she continues to grow and charm everyone around her.
