My Precious Bond with My Siamese Cat, Sister

My Precious Bond with My Siamese Cat, Sister

The day after the end of my junior year’s final exams, I made a rather bold decision. Without telling my parents, I bought a Siamese cat. I was instantly smitten by her charm and decided to name her Sister. It was an impulsive choice, but one that I knew would change my life.

I secretly brought Sister back to my dormitory. For the first two days, it was a bit of a challenge. On the first night, she was so scared that she hid herself away, making me worry. However, by the next day, she seemed to have adjusted to the new environment. She was running around the dormitory, full of energy, and had already figured out where the litter box and food bowl were. It was amazing how quickly she adapted.

After two days, it was time to take Sister home. Fortunately, my university and my home were in the same city. But the journey home was quite an experience. As soon as I put her in the carrier, she started meowing pitifully. The sound was so heart – wrenching that I felt a twinge of guilt. But as soon as we arrived home and I let her out, she transformed into a calm and composed little beauty. It was as if she knew she was in a new, more comfortable place.

To my surprise, after bringing Sister home, my parents fell in love with her even more than I had expected. They would prepare fresh chicken breast and egg yolks for her every day. They would talk to her as if she was a family member. It was heart – warming to see how quickly Sister had become an integral part of our family.

Now, Sister has been with me for almost a month. She has truly become the “boss” of our household. She is extremely greedy. The moment she hears the sound of someone chewing, she will dash over immediately.

Sister is also an absolute shadow. Wherever I go, she follows. One moment she might be on the bed, but as soon as I move to the living room, she will quickly jump up and follow me there. It’s as if I am the center of her world. Her cuteness is irresistible.

Recently, Sister has developed a new hobby. She loves to climb onto the tallest wardrobe in our house to take naps. However, she is a bit clumsy and often gets stuck up there, not knowing how to get down. It’s both funny and endearing to watch her in such situations.

In a few days, I will take Sister to get vaccinated and dewormed. I sincerely hope that she will grow up healthy and strong. I have a little wish in my heart: I hope to accompany Sister as she grows, and in the future, I wish for her to be a part of my life when I get married. She has already brought so much joy and love into my life, and I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with her in the days to come.
