The Wonderful Fate with the Siamese Cat Chestnut

The Wonderful Fate with the Siamese Cat Chestnut

In this complex world, the fates between people and between people and animals are always wonderful and elusive. For me, the encounter with the Siamese cat Chestnut was like a beautiful accident, which has since added endless colors and joys to my life.

I first heard about Siamese cats from my friend’s vivid description. My friend showed me a photo of a Siamese cat. Its lively eyes and unique coat color instantly struck my heart, making me develop a strong interest in this kind of cat. Later, by chance, I entered a cattery. As soon as I entered the door, the meows of numerous cats came to my ears. I eagerly searched for the Siamese cat that I had been longing for. Finally, in a corner, I saw a litter of kittens, and one of them was particularly eye – catching. It was Chestnut. At that time, it was petite in size but had a special kind of vitality. Originally, I was determined to raise a little female cat, but when I saw the emaciated and exhausted cat mother, this idea dissipated instantly. And Chestnut, like a shining star, made my eyes unable to move away from it.

According to Chestnut’s beautiful “grandma” (the owner of the cattery), Chestnut was a real “little overlord” at home. When it came to mealtime, it always domineeringly occupied all the cat food. The cat mother, Potato Chip, had a hard time getting close to eat a bite, let alone its siblings. It was mischievous, jumping up and down, as if the whole world was its playground. Even so, its lively and cute appearance deeply touched me. However, due to my busy work, I could only wait patiently until Chestnut was two months old before happily preparing to welcome it home.

The night before bringing Chestnut home, as if there was a telepathic connection, the cat mother, Potato Chip, held Chestnut tightly and kept licking it. Perhaps Potato Chip’s mother knew that her child was about to travel far away and was using her own way to teach Chestnut the etiquette and survival skills for going to a new home. On October 13th, this special day finally arrived, and I fulfilled my wish to bring Chestnut home. Chestnut’s appearance was extremely unique. As soon as we entered the house, my mother exclaimed in surprise, “Why did you bring back a little puppy?” This naughty little guy was a bit timid when he first arrived at the new home. He immediately got under the sofa and refused to come out no matter how we called him. However, the Siamese cat’s ability to adapt to the environment was truly astonishing. In just two hours, it began to carefully explore the new environment. Soon, it became one with our family. My father looked at Chestnut and sighed more than once, “If only Chestnut could stay this size forever.”

Chestnut’s intelligence and cleverness surprised us even more. Thanks to the careful teaching of the beautiful grandma, Chestnut had learned to use the litter box before coming home. In order to make it adapt to the new litter box faster, I even had the nerve to bring a lump of Chestnut’s feces from the cattery and put it in the new box. Unexpectedly, as soon as Chestnut saw it, it immediately understood and has since obediently used the litter box to solve its physical problems. It is also very considerate and never urinates or defecates randomly in the bedroom. It always waits until I wake up in the morning and then gently meows to signal me to open the door for it to go to the toilet.

As time goes by, Chestnut has completely integrated into our family and has become an indispensable member of the family. It brings us new surprises every day, either a naughty act or a cute expression. It is like a happy little elf, infecting each of us with its vitality and enthusiasm. If you are also looking for a partner who can bring infinite joy and warmth to your life, I sincerely recommend that you raise a Siamese cat. Believe me, you will never regret it, because they are like the little blessings in life, always accompanying you and making ordinary days colorful.
