Lovely Cat Companions: Eating and Sleeping Habits

Lovely Cat Companions: Eating and Sleeping Habits

In my cozy little home, there live two adorable cats, the chubby NONO and the clever Beibei. Their arrival has filled our once peaceful home with vitality and joy, bringing along many hilarious and heartwarming stories.

Let’s first talk about their eating habits. At first, Beibei was extremely fond of the delicious food I prepared especially for it. However, ever since NONO “immigrated” from abroad, everything has changed. Beibei seems to have been influenced by NONO’s eating habits. It no longer shows any interest in the prawns I cook and has instead, like NONO, fallen in love with canned food, soup packets, and other such “foreign delicacies”, occasionally accompanied by some cat food and cat treats. It seems that the appetites of cats can really influence each other.

As for the food that humans usually eat, such as the ingredients I use to feed chickens and fish at home, they don’t even take a second look. It seems that cats have a clear definition of their own “dietary standards”. Besides normal food, to supplement their nutrition, I also feed them a little bit of multivitamins and nutritional paste every day, hoping they can grow up healthily and robustly.

Now, let’s talk about their sleeping habits. As we all know, cats are afraid of the cold, and a warm bed is like heaven to them. Coupled with the familiar and reassuring smell of their owners, cats especially like to sleep with their owners on the bed. At first, I didn’t want them to enter my room because my health wasn’t very good, and I was worried about allergies and other problems. However, my husband dotes on them so much that he always lets the cats do whatever they want. As soon as my husband lies down on the bed, the cats will jump up cheerfully and obediently stay at the foot of his bed. But at six o’clock in the morning, the situation changes completely. NONO will treat my husband’s stomach as its mother’s stomach and keep stepping on it, as if playing an interesting game; while Beibei runs to make the shutter rattle or rushes towards the door, acting exactly like a dedicated “living alarm clock”, waking us up from our sleep. Gradually, I got used to their presence, no longer being allergic, and also discovered that their company has added a lot of special warmth to our lives.

These two lovely cats, with their unique food preferences and interesting sleeping habits, have brought countless joys and warmth to our lives. They are not just pets but have become indispensable members of our family, making every day of ours full of love and surprises.
