In my family, there is a Siamese cat named Binggun. He is an amazing existence that surprises us all the time. Every move and every sound he makes seems to tell his unique personality and charm, bringing endless joy and surprises to our lives.
Binggun is extremely active and belligerent. At least in our family, he shows such a lively and brave appearance. Our house is on the first floor and has a yard, which has become Binggun’s small base for exploring the world. He is full of endless yearning for the outside world and is eager to go out and play every day. Amazingly, he has learned to open the door by himself to go out and come back when he is tired, as if he has completely mastered the autonomy of life.
In front of my house is the small square of the community, which is Binggun’s “battlefield” and “playground”. He seems to think that this square is his exclusive territory and will never allow foreign species to invade easily. From time to time, a wonderful cat – dog battle will be staged. Binggun is extremely brave in battles and can always win. His fighting methods are diverse. Sometimes, like a brave warrior, he will directly rush up and scratch and fan the dog; sometimes, like a flexible athlete, he will chase the dog around the field. His mighty appearance has made those uncles and aunts who originally liked to walk their dogs in the square shrink back. Now, it’s rare to see anyone walking their dogs here. Once, there was a particularly interesting experience. A small Teddy kept barking at Binggun, trying to provoke him. But Binggun showed extraordinary calmness. He just stared at the Teddy quietly, with a look of disdain in his eyes. He just kept staring like this without making any offensive moves. Amazingly, just with his eyes, he scared the dog away. At that moment, I really admired Binggun’s “deterrence” from the bottom of my heart. Fortunately, I recorded this wonderful moment with my mobile phone at that time. In addition to being active and belligerent, Binggun is also extremely smart. His daily life is as regular as if it were programmed. Every morning, he will go out for a walk with my dad, as if he is my dad’s loyal little bodyguard. After coming back from the walk, he will solve his toileting problems by himself, and then run to my room and wake me up in his unique way. The way he wakes me up is also very interesting. He will gently jump onto the bed, rub against me, and make gentle meows until I am woken up by him. Then, he will have breakfast with us. After breakfast, he will patrol around the house, especially liking to stare at the fish in the fish tank, as if thinking about some profound problem. After that, he will go out to enjoy the warm sunshine. He will come home on time for lunch, take a lunch break after eating, and then go out to climb trees to do his exclusive exercise. Before dinner, he will definitely return home on time. Surprisingly, this series of behaviors has gradually formed by himself. No one has deliberately taught him, and he has arranged his day so naturally. His cleverness has made our whole family praise him.
Binggun also has an irresistible characteristic, that is, he is extremely clingy. When he is clingy, he is as gentle as a puddle of water. His meows also become extremely gentle, as if telling you his yearning and dependence. He likes to sleep with us. At night, he will find the most comfortable position and snuggle up to us tightly. During the day at home, no matter where you go, he will follow you like a little tail. When you are cooking in the kitchen, he will rub around your feet; when you are watching TV in the living room, he will jump onto the sofa and nestle in your arms; when you are working in the study, he will also quietly lie on your desk and accompany you. His company makes our lives full of warmth and love, as if he is an indispensable part of our family.
Binggun, this amazing Siamese cat, uses his activity, belligerence, cleverness, and clinginess to paint a colorful picture for our lives.
