In the journey of pet – keeping, every stage is full of stories and emotions, and the sterilization experience of my Siamese cat is an unforgettable memory for me.
My Siamese cat is a lively and lovely little female cat, born on September 4, 2014. She has an extremely lively personality, as if she has endless energy in her body. She jumps up and down at home every day, exploring every corner. Different from the traditional aloofness of cats, she is simply a super – clingy little goblin. Wherever I go, she will follow closely, like a little tail. If I sit down, she will not hesitate to jump onto my lap and find a comfortable position to nest, as if it is her exclusive throne.
However, she also has a naughty side. She is extremely greedy for food and is curious about all kinds of foods. As soon as she smells the aroma of food, she will immediately run to the kitchen, look at you eagerly, and keep meowing. Her pitiful little eyes make it really hard for people to refuse her “begging for food” request. Moreover, she loves to stir up trouble and always creates some “small troubles” at home. For example, she will push the small objects on the table to the ground, watch them scatter all over the place, and then run around happily by herself, seemingly very satisfied with her “masterpiece”.

She also has a unique “dog – like property”. When I get home, she will run to the door to greet me like a little dog, spinning around me non – stop, making cheerful calls, expressing her missing for me. When she gets along with the British Shorthair Fold in the family, there are always many problems. Because she is too jealous and loves to tease her kind, she often takes the initiative to provoke the British Shorthair Fold. She pats the head of the British Shorthair gently with her paw for a while, and then jumps around in front of the British Shorthair for a while, making the British Shorthair extremely annoyed. Nevertheless, her existence makes our home full of vitality and energy. With her around, our lives have become rich and colorful, full of laughter and fun. I truly feel that having her by my side is an incomparable happiness.
As she grew up slowly, it was time for her to have a sterilization operation. To be honest, before deciding to have the operation for her, I was very entangled and worried. I was afraid that the operation would bring her pain, and I was even more worried that her personality would change greatly after the operation and she would lose her original lively and lovely appearance. But considering the long – term impact of sterilization on her health, I finally hardened my heart and took her to have the operation.
In the days just after the operation, looking at her weak appearance, I felt extremely distressed. She lay quietly in her nest, no longer jumping up and down as before, and there was a trace of confusion and helplessness in her eyes. I stayed by her side all the time, taking care of her carefully, preparing nutritious food for her, and applying medicine to her on time. During those days, I prayed every day that she would get better soon.
To my relief, as time passed, she gradually regained her former vitality. More than 50 days after the sterilization operation, she became the carefree and super – clingy little cat again. She still likes to drill into boxes. As long as she sees a box at home, she will immediately get in, curl up in it, and only show a small head, looking extremely cute. She is still the little lazy cat who loves to sit on my lap. As soon as I sit down, she will quickly jump up. She still loves to bask in the sun. Every day, she will find a sunny place, lie down comfortably, and enjoy the warmth of the sun. Even when I go to the toilet, she will be like a loyal goalkeeper, guarding outside the door.
Now, looking at her who has recovered her health and recalling the days before and after the operation, I feel deeply emotional. Although the sterilization operation made her experience short – term pain, it guaranteed her future health. And she, with her strength and optimism, has once again shown me her unique charm. She is still the Siamese cat that I love and “hate”, full of vitality and enthusiasm, and an indispensable part of my life. I believe that in the future days, she will continue to accompany me and bring me more joy and warmth.
