In the world of pets, every little animal is like a unique star, shining with its own light. And my Siamese cat, Dora, is undoubtedly the most special and brightest star, bringing endless joy and surprises to my life.
The first encounter with Dora was full of wonderful fate. Originally, the aunt who sold cats recommended a lilac – colored cat to me. However, when I stepped into that small pet store, the first thing I saw was Dora. I stood beside her cage, and she looked at me intently. There seemed to be a special attraction in her eyes. When I took her out, she was so obedient, hardly meowing, and even licked my hand with her little tongue. At that moment, I made a decisive decision to transfer the money and take her home. Because I have always been fond of Doraemon, I naturally named her Dora, and in my heart, I thought that if I got a little Shiba Inu in the future, I would name it A – meng.

When Dora was first brought home, she was really very well – behaved. I thought Siamese cats would be talkative, but she was extremely quiet and not very shy. She got familiar with the new environment in just a few days. When Dora was four months old, she had already shown her intelligence, like a little smarty – pants. She knew that as long as she rubbed her head against me, I would be soft – hearted and open the cage to let her out. Although I had tried to let her know who was the boss by locking her in the cage because she bit me before, I still couldn’t resist her cuteness in the end.
When Dora took a bath for the first time, her stubborn look was really hilarious. Her little body twisted and turned in the water, trying her best to express her dissatisfaction. Even so, she was extremely cute. This “Internet – addicted girl” was curious about all kinds of toys, especially the cat teaser. Once, she brought the cat teaser to me, and I played with her. Unexpectedly, from then on, she remembered this game rule. Whenever she wanted to play, she would bring toys like little stars, little lobsters, and little crabs to me, as if to say, “Come and play with me!” Sometimes when I opened my eyes in the morning, I could see various small dolls and cat teasers beside my pillow, as if she was asking me to choose what to play with her today. This little guy’s thoughts are really interesting.
I heard that Siamese cats can be walked, so I took Dora out to try. Along the way, I heard many people talking: “Is this a cat or a dog? It looks like a cat to me.” And Dora walked calmly like a little angel, ignoring other people’s gazes. The intelligence of Siamese cats was vividly reflected in Dora. Although I didn’t specifically train her to retrieve, she learned by herself to bring toys to me to start a happy game time.
However, when Dora was six months old, she also showed her naughty side and became a little home – wrecker. Once, I went back to my hometown for two days. As soon as I opened the door and saw the mess made by the tissues, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow!” Although a little helpless, looking at her innocent little eyes, how could I bear to blame her?
Every day of Dora in my life is full of stories. Her obedience, stubbornness, intelligence, and naughtiness all form our unique memories. She is not just a pet but an indispensable family member in my life, accompanying me through every ordinary and beautiful day.
