My Lovely Siamese Cat Yuanbao: A Source of Joy and Warmth

My Lovely Siamese Cat Yuanbao: A Source of Joy and Warmth

My Siamese cat Yuanbao has brought an abundance of precious memories and joy to my life. Each moment spent with her is a treasure, filled with laughter and heart – warming scenes.

The first time I gave Yuanbao a bath was quite a memorable experience. She was extremely reluctant. I vividly remember that when my dad and I put her in the bathroom and turned on the shower, she immediately turned around and tried to run out. Finding the toilet door closed, she looked so lonely, weak, and helpless. However, after the bath, she smelled delightful.I also got a customized name tag for her, which made her look even more adorable.

Yuanbao has a special habit of loving to sleep on me. Despite my parents’ disapproval, especially during the hot summer, she still insists on snuggling up on me. Her little feet and cute little face are just irresistible. Once, when I went to my room to sleep and opened the door a crack, her longing little eyes were filled with eagerness to follow me in. Sometimes, I wonder if she contemplates her cat life in her sleep and if she dreams of her prince charming.

Interestingly, Yuanbao always squats at the bathroom door when I’m taking a bath and waits outside when I go to the toilet. She follows me around the house wherever I go. Another funny thing is that she has an extreme love for snacks. No matter what she’s doing, whether sleeping or playing, as soon as she hears the sound of a snack bag, she immediately runs to my feet and looks at me eagerly, her eyes full of anticipation.

Over time, Yuanbao has grown a lot. When I went home during the National Day holiday, I took a long picture of her. Her small V – shaped face was still there, but she had clearly become much bigger. My mom, who initially vowed to throw the cat out if I brought one home, has also fallen for Yuanbao’s charm. Now, my mom often sends me pictures of Yuanbao. In one picture, Yuanbao’s little feet looked cold. In another, she seemed like a “bald cat” (probably a funny angle), and her face looked big and round. She still looked cute in a new outfit that was supposed to be slimming.

Since I’m not often at home when I’m at school, and my dad is usually only home on weekends, Yuanbao keeps my mom company. Although my mom often complains about the cat hair everywhere, making it hard to clean, I can tell she really likes Yuanbao. Once, my mom ate a chicken claw and threw it in the kitchen trash can. Yuanbao secretly fished out the chicken claw from the trash can. When my mom found out, Yuanbao hid under the sofa, too scared to come out. When my mom tried to take the chicken claw back, Yuanbao got angry and held onto the chicken bone tightly, looking fierce.

Now, I’m eagerly looking forward to the holidays. I can’t wait to go home, touch Yuanbao, and give her a big hug. In my opinion, having a Siamese cat like Yuanbao is truly wonderful.
