My clever and clingy cat has been with me for a year and a half. During these one – and – a – half years, it has brought me countless joys and surprises, and of course, some rather amusing and exasperating “little episodes”.
I remember once when it went to the litter box to defecate. Halfway through, an embarrassing thing happened. Because it had accidentally swallowed a hair before, the hair got stuck in its buttocks, leaving half of the feces hanging in mid – air. It walked out of the litter box, looked back, and seemed to realize that something was wrong. Immediately, it sat down on the ground, using its two front paws to scratch the ground, trying to rub its buttocks against the ground to get rid of the half – hanging feces. By the time we noticed, it had left feces marks all over the floor, just like driving a bumper car around the room, which really made us extremely frustrated. But there was no other way. In the end, we carefully held it and helped it pull out the hair in its buttocks along with the half – hanging feces, and this “disaster” finally came to an end.

This cat is extremely clever. It can secretly unzip the mosquito net. Every night, like a skilled little thief, it quietly unzips the zipper and then tiptoes into my mosquito net, jumps onto the bed, and finds a comfortable position to sleep. It seems that this is its exclusive secret base.
Normally, I let it sleep at the head of the bed. But yesterday, I was in a bad mood and moved its little nest away. This caused quite a commotion. At night when it was time to sleep, it went crazy. It ran from the living room to the bedroom, whining and howling unhappily all the way. The sound was like a complaint about my “ruthlessness”. After running into the bedroom, it directly jumped onto my bedside table and stared straight at me. I knew it still wanted to sleep in its original place. I deliberately ignored it. As a result, it played its old trick again, secretly unzipped the mosquito net, and with lightning speed, jumped onto our stomachs and pretended to be asleep. Of course, its little trick was quickly seen through, and we mercilessly drove it down. But it was not willing to give up. It whined and fussed all night, looking just like a spoiled child.
Its gluttony is also well – known. A new kitten came to our home and was kept in a cage for isolation. It would squat next to the cage every day, staring straight at the kitten’s bowl. Its mind was probably full of the cat food in the kitten’s bowl. Finally, one day, I saw it acting like a thief. It stuck its paw into the cage, with its paw half – bent, just like a human wrist bent, and bit by bit, it scraped the cat food in the cage’s bowl onto the ground with its paw and then ate it with relish. It didn’t mind the trouble at all. It just ate a little at a time and slowly finished the kitten’s cat food. Its focused look was really annoying and funny at the same time.
Although it is gluttonous, it is very thrifty. It never wastes cat food. As soon as any cat food falls to the ground, it will immediately lower its head and pick it up to eat, never allowing a single grain of cat food to be “abandoned”.
Since it has been doted on by us since it was a kitten, it has become accustomed to being constantly noticed and simply cannot tolerate coldness and lack of attention. If I hold it and then hold the kitten at the same time, it will immediately get angry, jump off my knee angrily, and run away. If I forcefully hold it and don’t let it go, it will take its anger out on the kitten, biting the kitten’s ear, and its blue eyes will reveal full – blown anger. Once, I deliberately got angry with it and ignored it. While playing with its toys, it pretended not to care, but from time to time, it would bark irritably. Its appearance was just like a couple having an argument. One side tried hard to pretend to be indifferent but couldn’t help being upset, which was really interesting.
This cat, with its cleverness and clinginess, has filled every corner of my life. Although it sometimes makes people helpless, it brings me endless warmth and happiness. It has long been an indispensable family member in my life.
