In the days of accompanying my Siamese cat Yi, life is like a wonderful journey full of surprises and laughter. Every new day may bring new and interesting actions from Yi, adding a special color to my life.
At first, I was thinking of starting the story about Yi’s little wife, Mi Ah, when I had time. When Yi heard this news, it was so excited that it seemed to be shouting, “What! Finally going to update about my wife!” However, Yi itself didn’t stay idle and brought me a series of “surprises” that made me laugh and cry.
Yi has had quite a few activities recently. For example, it got into the coat box like a curious baby. Once inside, it tossed around recklessly and pierced three of my hats, a scarf, and a canvas bag. Facing such “excessive” behavior, I couldn’t help but give it a lesson. But this guy tried to get away with it after being beaten. Its appearance was vividly shown in the Weibo video. At the moment, I’m busy with its cat – life education work, which is really helpless.
Sometimes, I wanted to record Yi’s voice, but it was not cooperative at all. In the Weibo video, I could only helplessly say that I couldn’t hear Yi meowing in front of the camera. I even joked that I would meow for everyone, “Meow ┗|`O′|┛ Ow~~~”. This scene also became an interesting little episode in life.
Another time, there was an unknown urine stain at home. I anxiously called Yi, “Good son, come out quickly. Avoiding the problem won’t solve it. As a man, you should be responsible. Besides, if it really wasn’t you who peed, I won’t be fierce to you, right? So come out quickly! Let’s go and see who on earth peed!”
On Christmas Day, the number of likes for the related content reached over a hundred, which made me very happy. I’m also especially grateful for everyone’s support. I shared Yi’s daily life online and told everyone that if they wanted to add me on WeChat to see Yi’s daily photos, there was a watermark on the pictures. They should note “Come to see Yi” when adding me on WeChat to facilitate my classification. With handsome Yi, I sent Christmas wishes to everyone: “With handsome Yi, wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Merry X’mas!!”
Surprisingly, I got a set of photos of little Yi when it was over one month old from Yi’s parents’ home. In the photos, Yi was extremely cute, like a cute little rabbit. Seeing these photos, I was instantly healed.
Time flew by, and it was February in a blink of an eye. After coming back from the New Year, Yi seemed to have changed into a different cat and became a super – clingy “Little Clingy”. It also developed a new “cat problem”. Every afternoon, it needed me to coax it to sleep. If I didn’t, it would keep pestering me. Once, it took me more than an hour of coaxing to make it comfortable and smile at me. But as soon as I quietly sat back in front of the computer after coaxing it to sleep, it shouted “Mom~~~” from behind. That voice instantly melted my heart, and I could only helplessly reply, “Okay, okay. I can coax you for as long as you want.”
Yi also accompanied me to fold socks. I thought it would just stay quietly by my side, but unexpectedly, it directly “helped” with its paws. Its naughty appearance was really funny. Finally, it was so sleepy that it went to sleep by itself. Even though it was over 30 degrees under the sun, it still wanted to get into the quilt. I was worried that it would be “roasted fragrant” later.
On February 12, 2017, I found that Yi seemed to have a unique gentlemanly temperament. I planted cat grass for it and put it in its cage for two days. It treated the cat grass like an ordinary green plant and even enjoyed “appreciating the flowers” sometimes. In the morning, it even pulled my hand and told me to look, “Mom, look, the grass has grown taller!” Helplessly, I had to cut the cat grass and put it in its food bowl, and then it was willing to eat. Looking at its fastidious appearance, I couldn’t help but tease, “If you’re going to be this particular, should I prepare a small napkin, a small knife, and a small fork for you?”
Yi is like this. With its naughtiness, cuteness, clinginess, and those unexpected behaviors, it fills my life. Every moment I spend with it, I can feel endless joy and warmth. I’m also looking forward to more interesting stories it will bring me in the future.
