In my world, Yi, this Siamese cat, is like a bright star, illuminating every corner of my life with its unique radiance. Its presence has added countless colors and joys to my days. Every moment spent with it is like a precious gem, carefully treasured in the depths of my memory.
Yi’s voice has always been as soft and cute as the gentlest breeze in spring. Its lovely tone makes it hard to associate it with a male cat. However, when it lies quietly beside me, it exudes an unparalleled masculinity, as if silently proclaiming, “Don’t be afraid. I’ll protect you.” This cute contrast makes my love for it grow deeper. Once, just after I praised it, I turned my head casually and found it secretly peeking at me. It looked like a naughty child exploring an adult’s secret, which made me burst into laughter.

Yi’s intelligence is truly amazing. When teaching it to call “mom” and play fetch, it learned almost immediately, as if it was born with this understanding ability and didn’t need much training. It’s like a little genius with extraordinary talent, always bringing me surprises unexpectedly.
Time flies, and summer arrives in a blink of an eye. We moved to a new home. Yi lost its former paradise of the bunk beds, and its little nose turned red from crying. It was so pitiful. But as time passed, our little handsome guy was gradually growing up. During the growth process, there were inevitably some small twists and turns. For example, it had to wear a neck collar every time for deworming, which made it very unhappy. Its way of expressing dissatisfaction was quite special. It neither made a noise nor meowed. It just silently wagged its tail. Whether it was unhappy about wearing the collar or resisting taking medicine, it protested by wagging its tail. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to have any effect. Nevertheless, its company for me has never changed. It still accompanies me to sleep every night and even thoughtfully comes to be my pillow. With it by my side, my sleep becomes extremely sweet.
In order to give Yi a better playing space, I ordered a huge cat tree. When placing the order, I was full of anticipation, imagining Yi playing happily on it. But when it arrived, seeing the pile of parts, I was instantly dumbfounded. As a tough girl, I had to assemble the cat tree layer by layer by myself. The process was really hard, and my hands were tossed out of shape. When I was full of grievances and went back to the room to cry, Yi suddenly jumped onto my lap and looked at me with its bright eyes. At that moment, a warm current surged in my heart, and all the fatigue and grievances disappeared. After the cat tree was assembled, Yi couldn’t wait to occupy the highest point. Seeing its happy appearance, I felt that all the hard work was worth it, even though the room was still messy because we had just moved.
I also bought an astronaut bag. Yi was particularly interested in this bag. As soon as it got in, it started acting cute, and its appearance simply melted my heart. However, it sometimes did some things that made me laugh and cry. Once, it ran to compete with a rabbit for territory, rolling and rubbing on the ground. As a result, it got rabbit feces all over its body. Clearly, they are not of the same species, and I don’t know why it was so persistent in competing. After making a mistake, Yi looked very guilty, looking around and avoiding the topic. It was extremely funny. When it saw the rabbit sleeping and ignoring it, it even imitated the rabbit’s sleeping posture. Its silly appearance made me laugh non – stop.
As Yi grew up, I found that it was overweight, so I started a forced weight – loss plan. When I made it jump a few times, it was so tired that it was out of breath. Its appearance was really hilarious, and I even recorded a video. In daily life, Yi would also bring me some small surprises from time to time. For example, sometimes I would find that after a cardboard box had been placed for too long, a cat “grew” inside. It turned out that Yi secretly got in.
After moving, when I was cooking, I was afraid that Yi would steal food outside, so I locked it in a cage. At first, it resisted. To coax it, I gave it cat pudding. After locking it up twice, I found that it wasn’t interested in the dining table, so I stopped locking it. But the next day, when I was having a meal, Yi saw me eating and quickly got into the cage by itself, squatting inside and meowing at me, as if saying, “I want to go in and eat too.” This made me laugh and cry. It was like a naughty child, always finding various ways to achieve its goal.
During the forced food – reduction campaign, Yi didn’t complain and didn’t yield to fate. It quietly learned to chew through the cardboard box with open cat food and got in to look for food. When I found out and questioned it why it made a mistake, it not only didn’t show any sign of repentance but also pushed its butt in my face. Its naughty appearance made me angry and amused at the same time. After a period of hard work, Yi successfully lost weight and changed from a chubby cat to a handsome little guy. Looking back at its appearance before losing weight, it was really extremely fat. But now, it is handsome and cute.
Yi doesn’t like the hair – combing tool. In order to comb its hair, I fought with it for a whole morning and finally rolled a small hairball, which can be regarded as a Children’s Day gift for myself. When I took the hairball for Yi to smell, its confused appearance was really cute.
Yi, this magical Siamese cat, has woven a world full of joy and warmth for me with its love, cuteness, and naughtiness. In the future, I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with it and spending every wonderful moment together.
