In my warm home, there lives an extremely cute British Shorthair silver – shaded cat named Xiaowanzi. Xiaowanzi comes from a cattery owned by a friend. I still remember that at the beginning, my friend showed me photos and videos of a litter of four kittens and let me choose freely. Among so many kittens, I noticed Xiaowanzi at the first sight because it was different – it had no tail. It turned out that when Xiaowanzi was born, its tail was unfortunately bitten off by its mother cat, who mistook it for the umbilical cord. Since then, it has become a unique tailless kitten.
The moment I saw Xiaowanzi, my heart was deeply touched. On the one hand, I felt very sorry for it. At such a young age, it had such an accident and lost its tail. But more importantly, there was a wonderful connection by eye – appeal. Looking at its cute appearance and the innocence in its eyes, I instantly fell in love with it. When I heard that it was the most gluttonous kitten in that litter, my love for it increased even more. In my opinion, sometimes choosing a cat is like this. Although the breed and appearance are important, the more crucial thing is to look at the character. Just like Xiaowanzi, its unique experience made it even more special in my eyes, and its gluttonous character added a lot of cute colors to it.
After Xiaowanzi came to my home, it quickly became the happy fruit of the family. Although it has no tail, this in no way affects its liveliness and agility. It runs around the house, jumps up and down, and is as agile as a little squirrel. Every time I see its cheerful figure, I can’t help but smile. It especially likes to play with the cat teaser. As soon as I pick up the cat teaser and shake it gently, it will immediately rush over, with its eyes fixed tightly on the cat teaser and its body turning flexibly as the cat teaser moves. Its focused appearance makes people laugh.
Xiaowanzi has a very gentle character and never loses its temper. Even if I accidentally step on its paw sometimes, it just meows softly and doesn’t get angry with me. It is also very clingy and always likes to follow me. Wherever I go, it follows me. When going to sleep at night, it must sleep next to me, putting its small head on my pillow and making a soft purring sound, as if it can sleep soundly only in this way. Its soft body and warm body temperature make me feel full of company and happiness at night.
As time goes by, Xiaowanzi has become fatter and fatter under my careful feeding. Its round body is like a furry little meatball. It waddles when it walks, which makes it even cuter. Although it has become fat, it is still handsome. Its silver – gray fur shines with a charming luster under the sunlight, and the black dots on the hair tips make it look more unique. Its eyes are big and round, like two bright gemstones, showing clarity and agility. Every time I look at it, I can’t help but sigh that choosing it at the beginning was such a correct decision.
The existence of Xiaowanzi has made my life more colorful. The happiness and warmth it brings to me far exceed my imagination. It is not only a pet but also my family member, an indispensable part of my life. I hope Xiaowanzi can grow up healthily and happily all the time and accompany me through more beautiful times. I also hope that by sharing Xiaowanzi’s story, more people can understand that the cuteness of cats lies not only in their appearance but also in their unique characters and the deep emotional connection with us.
