In the city of Hangzhou, the market prices of cats vary. Nowadays, the price of British Shorthair silver – tipped and silver – shaded cats is around 1500 yuan. Fortunately, I was able to welcome my precious cat, RouRou, at a price of 800 yuan. She is a lovely female cat. Time flies, and now RouRou is already one year and one month old. In this more than one – year period of companionship, she has brought me countless joys and warmth.
RouRou’s character is extremely clingy. It seems that I am her whole world. Wherever I go, she always follows me closely. Whenever I sit down, she will quickly jump onto my lap and curl up in a comfortable position, enjoying the time of being close to me. This clingy character allows me to feel her dependence and love for me all the time.
Speaking of RouRou’s eating habits, they are really unique. She shows a strong interest in human food and is simply a “food explorer”. When I eat steamed buns, as soon as she smells them with her little nose, she comes over and looks at me eagerly, as if saying, “Master, I want to eat too.” When I eat fruits, she will also curiously come forward and take a small bite, eating with gusto. The most interesting thing is that when I eat fried chicken, she even chews on the bones. Her serious appearance is really funny. Surprisingly, although she has eaten so much human food, she has never been sick or had soft stools. This makes me have to sigh that British Shorthair silver – shaded cats are really an easy – to – raise breed.
Looking back when I first brought RouRou home, she was still a little cat, extremely cute. As time goes by, RouRou has grown up healthily and has now become a “big chubby girl”. When she was ten months old, her figure was round. Looking from afar, her face was like a round pancake. Especially when she was sleeping, her appearance was even more hilarious, making people can’t help but want to hug her. When she was a kitten, RouRou’s nose color was a bit reddish – brown and inclined to black. As she grew up, the color of her nose became more and more pink, adding a bit of playfulness and cuteness to her. Although female cats usually don’t develop jowls, RouRou’s round face has become the key to her beauty, making her look even more charming.
However, recently RouRou is pregnant, which makes me both excited and worried. Surprisingly, instead of getting fatter, she has lost weight after pregnancy. Moreover, her temper has become extremely irritable and impatient, completely different from her usual clingy self. She is no longer as enthusiastic about eating as before and often just takes a few bites casually and then ignores the food. I know that pregnancy is a special and hard period for RouRou. I only hope that she can safely get through the pregnancy and give birth smoothly. After the babies are born, I hope RouRou can quickly return to her previous lively, cute, and gluttonous state. During this time, I will take care of her more carefully, provide her with sufficient nutrition and warm company, looking forward to the arrival of new lives and also looking forward to RouRou becoming that carefree little cutie again. I believe that no matter which stage RouRou is in, she is unique and irreplaceable in my heart.
