In Shanghai, the price of cats can vary significantly, mainly depending on the purchase channel and the required quality of the cats. For my family, which is engaged in cat breeding, our cats are priced around 2000 yuan. If customers book in advance, they can get a price of 1700 yuan and have the priority to choose their favorite cats. These cats are home – bred, and they have extremely friendly personalities. In normal circumstances without special isolation, they run freely all around the house.
Our family mainly breeds silver shaded British Shorthairs and silver points from time to time. Among them, silver points are much more expensive. On February 17th, our female cat gave birth to her second litter. It was a heart – wrenching experience. Due to uterine inertia, she had a difficult labor and finally had to undergo a cesarean section to give birth to five cute kittens. Now, with a bandage around her body, she is still doing her best to nurse her babies. Moreover, she has to go for intravenous infusion every day to recover.
This situation has put our family under certain financial pressure. Therefore, we are hoping to sell these kittens as soon as possible. Customers can either come to our place to pick up the kittens in person or arrange for them to be transported by carpool. We really need to recoup some of the costs for the surgery and medications.
So far, three of the kittens have already been reserved. But there are still two lovely kittens waiting for their new owners, their potential “cat – slaves”. These kittens are full of vitality. Their soft fur, bright eyes, and cute little paws are extremely attractive. They are like little balls of fur, running around in their small space, exploring the world around them with curiosity.
Our male breeding cat also deserves a mention. He is a handsome fellow. In the cat breeding world, his genes are quite valuable. If there are other cat breeders in need, he can be “rented out” for breeding purposes. His strong physique and gentle temperament make him an ideal partner for breeding.
The process of cat breeding in our family is not just about making money. It is also a journey full of love and responsibility. We take care of every cat and kitten with our hearts, from the moment the female cat conceives to the time when the kittens grow up and find their new homes. Each step is accompanied by joys and sorrows. The difficult labor of the female cat made us feel sorry for her, but at the same time, seeing the healthy growth of the kittens brings us a great sense of accomplishment.
We sincerely hope that these remaining two kittens can find warm and loving homes as soon as possible. They will bring endless joy and companionship to their new owners, just as they have brought to our family. And we also look forward to continuing our cat – breeding journey, providing more people with lovely feline friends.
