My journey with my beloved cat began when I brought home this little bundle of fur for just 600 yuan. The first – night photo I took of it was heart – wrenching. Weighing only 0.7 kg at 50 days old, it looked so pitiful. Its most striking feature was the heart – shaped nose, which, interestingly, led some to consider it an impure silver shaded British Shorthair. But to me, that was what made it unique and endearing, and I fell in love with it at first sight.
As the days and months passed, I witnessed its remarkable transformation. At two months old, it was already growing more lively. And then, at two months and ten days, it reached what I believe was its peak of cuteness. Its eyes sparkled, and its fluffy coat made it look like a little ball of sunshine. However, as it entered the three – month mark, its face started to look a bit sunken, entering the so – called “awkward phase”. But this was just a passing stage. By the time it was four months old, its face began to round out again, and it was becoming more handsome by the day. Comparing the photos of the three – month – old and the four – month – old, the difference was astonishing.

I affectionately call my cat “Biaobiao”. In just over ten days, it would be five months old, and I was eagerly looking forward to seeing how it would continue to grow. I couldn’t help but share the little joys and moments we spent together. I truly love this little creature with all my heart.
Sure enough, I came back to update. It had turned five months old, and each day with it was a new adventure. I firmly believe that when it comes to cats, there’s no such thing as a matter of “worth”. If you like a cat, if you love it, then it’s priceless. I sincerely hope that every cat owner can share a lifetime of happiness with their feline friends, just like I do with mine.
Another update – my dear “Baoer” went for a medical check – up yesterday and weighed 6 pounds! Around this time, I also decided to bring a second cat into our home. Since then, the daily antics of these two “brothers” have filled our house with even more laughter and warmth. I often took pictures to capture their precious moments together and shared them with others.
When some kind – hearted people asked me how I bought my cat, I was happy to share my little experience. I told them to look for reliable sources, whether it’s a trusted breeder or an adoption center. It’s important to observe the cat’s health and temperament before making a decision.
However, recently, my heart has been heavy. My older cat fell ill. It ate something unknown and started having diarrhea, which led to rectal prolapse. The condition kept recurring, and in the end, it had to undergo surgery. So far, I’ve spent over 4000 yuan on its treatment. Today is the second day after the surgery, and all I can do is pray that my dear cat recovers quickly. It’s a tough time, but I know that the love I have for my cats will see us through these difficult days. They are not just pets to me; they are family, and I will do everything in my power to ensure their well – being.
