My little feline friend is almost ten months old now. He became a “little eunuch” when he was seven months old. In all aspects, he is in excellent health, and his personality remains extremely friendly and clingy. He loves to play but is incredibly well – behaved and never wreaks havoc in the house, showing great self – control.
During the Chinese New Year, I took him back to my parents’ home. The new and unfamiliar environment didn’t faze him at all, even though my parents’ jealous dog barked so loudly that it seemed to shake the heavens. He showed no signs of stress or anxiety. Instead, he secretly stole the corgi’s dog food at my parents’ place. When it comes to confrontations with the dog, he is very gentle. As soon as the dog barks, he quickly hides, but as soon as the dog leaves, he comes out to tease it again. The two of them have a love – hate relationship. Due to the COVID – 19 pandemic, they spent a long time together. After I took the cat away, my mother said that the little corgi was so depressed that it lost its appetite.

My cat is also very sociable. When guests come to our home, he shows no fear. In fact, he’s quite the “lady – killer” and will eagerly jump into the laps of female guests. Once, a friend came to stay overnight, and he even fell asleep in my friend’s arms.
Now that he’s passed the awkward adolescent stage, he’s getting chubbier by the day. His round face and fluffy body make him even more adorable. His fur has become smoother and shinier, and his big, bright eyes are full of curiosity and playfulness.
Despite his sometimes mischievous antics, he always manages to bring joy and laughter to our lives. Whether it’s his attempts to steal dog food or his friendly interactions with guests, every moment with him is a precious memory. His presence has truly made our home a warmer and more lively place.
He has a special way of showing his affection. When I come home from work, he runs towards me, meowing loudly, as if to tell me how much he’s missed me. He will then rub his body against my legs, asking for a pat or a cuddle. At night, he likes to sleep at the foot of my bed, providing a sense of comfort and security.
In addition to his friendly and clingy nature, he is also very intelligent. He has learned to respond to his name and can understand some simple commands. For example, when I tell him “no” when he’s about to do something naughty, he will stop immediately and look at me with his innocent eyes.
As he continues to grow, I look forward to seeing more of his charming personality unfold. I hope to create many more wonderful memories with him, watching him play, sleep, and explore the world around him. He is not just a pet; he has become an important member of our family, and I cherish every moment spent with him.
