My Furry Family: The Journey with My Cats

My Furry Family: The Journey with My Cats

My journey with cats began in a rather ordinary yet charming way. A friend gifted me a tabby cat. She herself had a silver shaded British Shorthair. When I visited her home and laid my eyes on that silver shaded beauty, I was immediately smitten. From then on, I was determined to have one of my own. Little did I know that the road to owning a cat of my dreams would be filled with twists and turns.

I started looking for silver shaded British Shorthairs to buy. However, being a novice in cat – buying and not knowing how to judge their appearance and quality, I unfortunately fell victim to scams a few times. But my passion for these lovely creatures didn’t waver. Gradually, I managed to bring four cats into my home, each with its own distinct personality.

The first one is Dapang, a male cat over one year old. When I bought him, he was already an adult. True to his name, Dapang is quite hefty. He has a calm and composed demeanor. Most of the time, he lies lazily in his favorite corner, observing the world around him with his big, wise eyes. Despite his size, he is extremely gentle. Whenever I approach him, he will slowly stretch his body and nuzzle against my hand, asking for a gentle pat.

Mia is the second addition to my cat family. Her fur color is relatively deep, and she is the most affectionate one among them. Sometimes, I even feel that she might have a touch of silver tabby in her genes. She follows me around the house wherever I go. The moment I sit down, she jumps onto my lap without hesitation and curls up, purring contentedly. Her soft fur and warm body make for a perfect companion on lazy afternoons.

Then there’s Banny, a little cutie who knows exactly how to charm everyone with her sweet acts. She has a penchant for cute poses. Whenever I bring out some treats, she stands up on her hind legs, waving her front paws in the air, as if she’s performing a little dance to beg for food. Her big, innocent eyes are simply irresistible, and it’s impossible to say no to her.

The latest member of our family is Xiaobuding, who just arrived at our home not long ago. She is still a bit shy and timid, exploring every corner of her new environment with caution. But I can already see the spark of curiosity in her eyes. I’m sure that with time, she will grow more comfortable and show her true personality.

I spare no effort to take good care of my furry friends. I provide them with a variety of delicious and nutritious food. Chicken breast, beef, canned food, and carrots are all part of their regular diet. I want them to be plump and healthy. Seeing them gobble up their food with gusto brings me an indescribable sense of joy.

Every day spent with my cats is filled with laughter and warmth. They have become an integral part of my life. Whether it’s Dapang’s gentle presence, Mia’s affectionate cuddles, Banny’s adorable antics, or Xiaobuding’s cautious exploration, each of them contributes to the unique charm of our home. They are not just pets; they are my family, and I am truly grateful for the love and companionship they bring me.
