My silver shaded British Shorthair is truly a unique little creature. One of the most remarkable things about it is that it seems to want to eat everything except its cat food. I have to be careful when I’m having my meals because its curious eyes are always fixed on my food, as if it’s thinking, “Why does that look so much more delicious than my dry cat food?” Of course, I only let it smell my food and never give it any, as many human foods are not suitable for cats.
Although I’m not a food blogger, I often find myself sharing pictures of my cat, especially when it’s being its cute and curious self around food. But now, let me show you some other adorable photos of my little furball. I once playfully “arranged” a Pandora bracelet for my cat, just for fun. And my cat actually has its own little tag. On the back of the tag, there’s a little secret – my phone number. This way, if my cat ever gets lost, someone can contact me.

Here’s a funny thing: I once joked that if you buy the cold noodle sheets (ganmianpi), you can get my cat as a “bonus”! It’s such a great “deal,” isn’t it? My cat has the most charming way of expressing itself. It can wink at me cutely, and its belly is always ready to be petted. Its temper is incredibly good, but it’s also a bit silly. One time, we tried to play hide – and – seek. I suddenly popped out from my hiding place, and to my surprise, it got so scared that its fur stood on end. It was both funny and endearing.
Let’s take a close – up of its head. It looks so silly sometimes, like a little dumpling. Now, my cat is over five months old, and it’s gradually getting rounder. I sincerely hope that it will grow up to be even more beautiful. Its personality is truly wonderful. It has never scratched anyone or hissed at people. It’s actually quite timid. It’s greedy for food, loves to sleep, is extremely clingy, and sometimes it smells really bad and even farts. But despite all these little quirks, I love it to bits.
I’ve even made some cute self – made emoticons of my cat. And now, let me share some photos of it when it was a kitten. The first photo I took of it was right after it came to my home. It was so small and cute at that time. But after a few days, it unfortunately started to develop ringworm. It looked really ugly then. However, with persistent application of the medicine, it got better.
Looking back on these memories, I realize that having a silver shaded British Shorthair is truly a wonderful experience. Every day spent with my cat is filled with laughter and surprises. Whether it’s its funny expressions when it’s looking at food, its scared reaction during our little games, or its sweet gestures of affection, it has completely stolen my heart. I’m so grateful to have this little furry friend by my side, and I look forward to many more happy moments together in the future. No matter how many little flaws it may have, it will always be the most precious existence in my world.
