In my life, there is a special silver – shaded cat named Garen. It is like a unique little planet, shining with a different kind of light in the orbit of my life.
Today, Garen has an important moment in its cat life – sterilization. Surprisingly, it doesn’t need an Elizabethan collar at all. After the operation, it didn’t care about what it had lost at all and didn’t even lower its head to take a look. Its carefree character really makes people laugh. Now, Garen is seven months old. As it grows older, it seems to become lazier and lazier. Every day after eating, it finds a place to lie down. Its lazy appearance really gives me a headache. I often wonder if this is still the energetic little guy it used to be.
When everyone is praising silver – shaded cats for being obedient and gentle, I think my Garen is more like a “wild dog”. Its character is lively and full of wildness, perhaps because it is not a purebred British Shorthair. However, it also has a comforting side. Every time it sees things on the edge of the table, it will carefully walk around them and never, like other naughty cats, push things to the ground. This small act makes me feel extremely at ease and also shows its sensible side.

Speaking of Garen’s appearance, it is indeed not that perfect. But in my heart, it is unique. I still remember that at first, I always thought it was a girl, so I doted on it extremely, wishing to give it the best things in the world. However, as it gradually grew up, I was surprised to find that it actually had testicles! This unexpected discovery made me both angry and amused. Since then, I often talk all kinds of witty remarks to it, as if sharing the little interesting things in life with an intimate little partner.
During the days of getting along with Garen, I have witnessed its growth and also harvested countless joys. Its energetic running, curious exploration, and occasional coquettish appearance are all deeply imprinted in my mind. Although it is sometimes so naughty that it gives me a headache, such as jumping around the house and making toys a mess, these little episodes make our life more colorful.
I know that Garen’s sterilization is for its health. Although it doesn’t quite understand what has happened now, I believe that in the days to come, it will still live happily. It may still be as lazy as before and as naughty as a “wild dog”, but I will still love it as always. Because it is not just a cat but an important partner in my life, the anticipation of my return home every day, and the comfort of my soul when I am tired.
In the days to come, I hope to continue to accompany Garen, watch it grow up little by little, and become more and more mature. I will prepare delicious food for it, give it warm hugs, and spend every beautiful moment with it. Garen, may you always be healthy and happy in this loving home and continue to add more colors to my life with your unique charm.
