My Cat: A Lovable Companion with a Memorable Growth Journey

My Cat: A Lovable Companion with a Memorable Growth Journey

In my warm little home, there lives a cat that brings me countless joys and surprises. Looking back on the bits and pieces of getting along with it, it’s really a journey full of fun.

When I brought it back from the pet store, it was only two months old. At that time, it was extremely cute. Its small body was a fluffy ball, and those bright eyes sparkled with curiosity about the world. When it was a kitten, it was full of energy, meowing cheerfully. Although it couldn’t jump up anywhere, it still liked to scurry around the house, as if it had inexhaustible energy.

During the process of taking care of it, apart from daily feeding and cleaning the litter box, I didn’t really have to worry too much. It was like a sensible little angel, quietly adapting to this new home. However, when it was about four months old, a small episode occurred. A piece of ringworm the size of a fingernail grew on the back of its neck. When I discovered it, the hair in that area was almost falling out, which made me very distressed. I quickly took measures and sprayed it with Pityrosporum Ovale. Maybe I used too much medicine. A few days later, the ringworm was cured, but that area actually became bald. This really worried me. It was bald at a young age, which was really a bit funny. Fortunately, the hair on the neck was relatively long and could just cover the bald area, which was not very obvious. This made me feel a little relieved.

After that, life returned to normal, and it basically grew from a little kitten to a big cat without much trouble. My cat has a particularly good quality. Although it is a curious baby and always jumps up and down, it never pushes things to the ground. Every time it passes by items such as glass cups on the table, it will carefully walk around them, as if it knows that these things cannot be touched casually. It can also obediently watch others building Lego bricks from the side. Its focused appearance is like a quiet little audience. Although later it couldn’t help but reach out its claws to fiddle with it, it basically won’t cause a big mess.

However, it also has a habit that makes people laugh and cry. Like many cats, it often doesn’t drink from its own water bowl but prefers to secretly drink from other people’s water cups. It seems that other people’s water has a special taste that attracts it more.

Before I knew it, it was already six months old. As it grew older, it became lazier and lazier. The lively energy it had when it was a kitten had long since disappeared. Now, it is like a master every day. It curls up its two paws and lies down, unwilling to move anymore. Moreover, because it is generally not allowed to enter the bedroom, whenever it gets the chance, it will rush in, competing with me for the bed and quilt. The more I drive it away, the more it competes. Its naughty appearance makes me angry and funny at the same time.

By the way, there is a very important thing that I must remind cat – raising friends. That is, be sure to trim the cat’s nails regularly. My cat has scratched five people in total. Although most of the time it doesn’t mean to, the situation will be much better after trimming the nails. People who raise cats know that cats are not as obedient as dogs. If your cat can run over as soon as you call its name, that would be really great. Although my master has not reached this level yet, I firmly believe that day is not far away. Because it is really too greedy, especially fond of chicken breast. Every time I feed it, as soon as I call its name, it will quickly run over and circle around me non – stop. Its eager appearance makes people laugh.

In order to get something to eat, our big master and little master (sometimes it feels like a little overlord) will not only accompany me to the toilet but also let me touch and hug it, and even let me grab its tail and touch its belly casually. Now, my cat’s face is getting bigger and bigger. Recently, the little girl in the pet store praised us for raising it well, saying that its fur is very smooth and the “collar” (hair) on its neck is very thick. We have managed to raise a cat that might have been a B – level cat (as if there is such a classification) into a cat that looks like a breeding cat. Looking at it growing up healthily day by day and becoming more and more beautiful and cute, I feel a great sense of accomplishment in my heart. In the days to come, I look forward to continuing to accompany it and witnessing more interesting growth stories of it.
