In my life, a special family member has come into my world. Its arrival means that I no longer have to single – handedly uphold the “beauty standard” of our family.
I still remember the first time I saw it. It was so obedient and wasn’t afraid of people at all. The seller told me that this was a kitten that hadn’t been sold. But in my opinion, it was really good – looking! With big eyes and a fluffy body, its cute appearance captured my heart instantly. When we decided to take it home, it was already more than eight months old. The seller had developed such strong feelings for it that they were reluctant to sell it. However, they finally agreed to let it become a member of our family.
Since it came to our home, it has shown unparalleled gentleness and obedience, just like a sensible second sister (in our family’s “ranking”, the blue – fat cat is the eldest brother, it is the beautiful second sister, and there is also a naughty little sister). It has many advantages that we love. Firstly, it never extends its claws towards us. Unlike the blue – fat cat, the eldest brother in our family, which sometimes extends its claws when pouncing on our thighs. It is always so gentle, making us feel full of love.
Secondly, it won’t be aggressive towards other cats on its own initiative, nor will it snatch food. However, for some reason, it seems to be a bit resistant to the blue – fat cat. Maybe they just need more time to get along and bond with each other.
Moreover, it is extremely obedient. No matter what we do to it, it cooperates obediently, including taking a bath. Although it clearly hates taking a bath, every time it just gently pats our hands to express its reluctance, and it never really resists. This kind of sensibility and docility makes us love it even more.
However, it also has a small “shortcoming”, that is, it sheds a lot. To deal with this problem, I bought a mite remover, a cat comb, and even a vacuum cleaner. All of this is because it sheds hair so severely! I think this might be a common problem among silver – shaded cats, or it could be due to the fact that it didn’t have a good diet in the pet store when it was a kitten, resulting in insufficient nutrition.
Although it sheds a lot, this doesn’t affect our love for it at all. Its gentleness, obedience, and cuteness have become an indispensable part of our family. Every time I get home and see its cute appearance, all my tiredness will disappear. In the days to come, I hope to take good care of it, provide it with sufficient nutrition, and make its fur healthier. I also hope that it can continue to maintain this gentleness and obedience and accompany us through more wonderful times. I believe that with it around, our family will become more warm and happy.
