Among my experiences of raising cats, TeTe is definitely the most unique one. It has a big temper that makes people love and feel helpless at the same time, and it also has a “chatty” mouth that never stops for a moment.
Since TeTe was a kitten, it has been meowing “Lao Wu, Lao Wu~” all day long. These meows have rich meanings. Sometimes it is calling me, the cat – litter – cleaner, over, as if acting coquettishly for attention; but the next second, it may become disgusted, as if shouting for me to go away quickly. Its soft and milky “chatter”, paired with its cute appearance, makes it impossible for people to get angry. Instead, it is extremely cute.
Bathing TeTe is an unforgettable “battle”. Whenever it’s bath time, it seems to turn into a different cat. As soon as it touches the water, it starts the “wet – body temptation” mode. However, this is not a beautiful picture but the prelude to its fierce resistance. I can’t handle it alone and often have to call two strong men to help me successfully bathe it. During the bathing process, it keeps hissing and “chattering” non – stop, as if loudly protesting against this “torture”. After the bath, it doesn’t stop. It continues to “chatter” at the air for half an hour, as if telling the whole world about its grievances. There is no doubt that this is a cat with a temper and ideas.
As time goes by, TeTe gradually grows up, but its temper has not changed at all. It still does its own thing and expresses its views on the world in its unique way. Interestingly, TeTe also shows a different kind of “temperament” – it likes to “read books”. Of course, when we say it reads books, it is actually the result of our careful posing that takes several hours. In order to take those photos that seem to show TeTe reading seriously, we have taken great pains, consuming a lot of battery power to capture the shots and sacrificing a lot of snacks to attract its cooperation. It’s really “one minute of showing the cat, ten years of hard work off – stage”. Behind every cute photo, there are unknown stories.
Considering that TeTe might be lonely at home alone, I found a blue – cat younger brother for it as a companion. At first, TeTe showed the demeanor of a big brother of the silver – shaded cat, taking great care of the blue – cat younger brother. It always let the blue – cat younger brother eat first when there was food. The two of them loved each other and the picture was very warm. TeTe also seemed to enjoy the process of taking care of its younger brother, leading the younger brother to explore the house and teaching it various “survival skills”.
However, as the blue – cat younger brother gradually grew up, things changed. One day, a stray little female cat appeared outside the door. It looked at TeTe and the blue – cat younger brother in the house with a confused look. There was full curiosity in the little female cat’s eyes, as if asking: “What on earth are they doing, meow?” This unexpected episode rippled the originally calm cat life. How will TeTe and the blue – cat younger brother treat this little female cat? What interesting stories will happen between them? All these are full of unknowns, making people can’t help but look forward to the follow – up development. TeTe, this cat with a personality, is destined to continue writing its unique chapter in the future, and I will continue to accompany it, witnessing every wonderful moment in its life.
