Yangleduo, this cat that brings endless joy and warmth to my life, stages new and interesting stories every day.
Once, I took Yangleduo downstairs to pick up a courier. I thought it would be full of curiosity about the outside world and explore cheerfully. However, as soon as it went out, it became “timid in an instant”. The little naughty that was lively and jumping around at home became extremely cautious outside. It stuck tightly to my feet, not daring to move at all, and its little head looked around vigilantly, as if the outside world was full of unknown dangers. Looking at its timid appearance, I found it both funny and a bit pitiful. I could only gently soothe it and quickly complete the task of picking up the courier with it, returning to its familiar home.
Yangleduo’s nails are also a matter of concern. Just a few days after I trimmed its nails, I found that its nails had split, just like a hangnail on our hands. This really puzzled me, and I didn’t know what caused it. I pondered in my heart whether the way I trimmed its nails was wrong or if it played too hard usually. I searched the Internet everywhere and consulted cat – raising experts, hoping to find a solution to make Yangleduo’s little paws healthy again.
Yangleduo also has a “small trouble”, that is, it has a bit of a heavy tear stain. I wipe it carefully every day, but there are still some tear stains at the corners of its eyes. I couldn’t help but tease it: “Do you cry your eyes out at home every day after I go to work?” Looking at its innocent little eyes, I found it funny again. I began to carefully study its diet. Was it because of the inappropriate food it ate that caused the tear stains to worsen? I tried to change it to some lighter cat food, hoping to improve its tear – stain problem.
Yangleduo is always eager for delicious food. Once, when it saw the food in my hand, its eyes lit up immediately, and it meowed at me, as if saying: “Mom, I want to eat this.” I looked at the food in my hand and helplessly told it: “NONO, you can’t eat this kind of junk food.” But it wouldn’t give up and kept circling around me, acting coquettishly and being cute. In order to make it obedient, I could only find ways to distract its attention and give it some of its favorite cat snacks.
Sometimes, I also “force” Yangleduo to “work”. I would hold a cat teaser in front of it, swaying it around, trying to make it do some interesting actions. At first, it was not very cooperative, looking wronged and even crying. But gradually, it was also attracted by the cat teaser and started to play cheerfully. It would pounce to the left for a while and then to the right for a while, having a great time. Looking at its happy appearance, I also felt extremely happy.
Yangleduo’s weight is also something I pay attention to. One day, I found that it seemed to have gained some weight. After a careful look, it turned out that it had stolen and eaten cat food. Its chubby belly was like a small ball, making people laugh heartily. While laughing and calling it a little glutton, I was also worried that being too fat would affect its health. So, I began to control its diet and prepared some healthy cat cans and an appropriate amount of cat food for it.
During the National Day holiday, Yangleduo and I spent a happy time together. I gave it a cute nickname, “Yangleduo Pig”, because it was growing faster and faster and now weighed two pounds and four ounces. It ran around the house, gradually becoming more and more cheerful. It also performed a “self – entertainment” show. It chased its tail for a while and then jumped onto the sofa, regarding itself as a “martial arts master” and jumping around on the sofa. It also developed a strong interest in my cockatiel, “Gouzi”, always staring at it, as if wondering what this little flying guy was. And because of the female bird’s depression and self – plucking of feathers, the whole house had a somewhat different atmosphere. Sometimes, Yangleduo would also do some unexpected things. For example, it accidentally “fell over” while playing, lying on its back on the ground. Its funny appearance made people laugh non – stop.
In the days of getting along with Yangleduo, these hilarious or warm moments have all become the most precious memories in my life. It is like a happy pill. No matter what troubles I encounter, as long as I see it, all my unhappiness will disappear. I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with Yangleduo and accompanying it to grow up healthily and happily.
