In the wonderful journey of life, sometimes a sudden surprise can completely change our daily routine. For me, the arrival of Yangleduo is such a precious gift. As a new cat owner who has never raised a cat before, my husband gave me this lovely cat – Yangleduo on a festival, opening a new chapter of my life with a cat. It also made me deeply experience the endless joy and warmth brought by raising a cat.
When six – week – old Yangleduo was first brought home, its small body seemed as if a gust of wind could blow it down. At that time, it was so thin, with a small face only the size of a palm. Its timid appearance made people feel pity. When Yangleduo first arrived home, it was extremely weak and helpless, full of fear of this strange environment. It was like a little explorer, drilling into any hole it could find. Its meow was as soft as a mosquito’s buzz, and it had no interest in common cat toys like cat teaser wands. We could only watch it silently, let it explore the house freely. When it confirmed that there was no danger around, it would hide in a corner and secretly observe us.
Gradually, Yangleduo found that we wouldn’t hurt it and began to let down its guard. It no longer fled around but approached us carefully and finally lay down beside us to sleep peacefully.The next day, Yangleduo’s state changed significantly. It began to run around me and lie beside me, making a purring sound in its throat, as if expressing its love and peace of mind to me. At that moment, I knew that it had gradually adapted to this new home and accepted us.
Now, Yangleduo has been in the house for two weeks. During these two weeks, I successfully fed it deworming medicine, cut its nails, and combed its hair with a cat – grooming glove. Yangleduo has always been very obedient. During these processes, it neither struggled hard nor showed its claws, and it was very cooperative. Of course, it will also be naughty and cause a little trouble occasionally, but this instead adds a lot of fun to our lives. Every night when I put it in the cage for sleeping, it will meow a few times in the first two minutes, as if protesting, but other than that, it is very quiet throughout the day and rarely makes a sound.
Yangleduo also has very good living habits. It can eat a handful of cat food for a day and will take the initiative to drink water and use the litter box. I only need to play with it and clean the litter box. I clean the litter box quite frequently. I will clean it whenever I have time, and I can clean it three or four times a day. Even if I forget because of being busy at work sometimes, I can still ensure that I clean it at least once a day. So, there is never any smell in the house. Now Yangleduo has become a super – clingy “whining monster”. It not only knows its name but also responds softly or runs towards me directly when I call it. Its eager look is like saying, “Master, I’m here!” Currently, I’m teaching it to use the cat scratching post. Although it doesn’t seem to have fully experienced the fun of the cat scratching post yet, I believe that with my patient guidance, it will learn it slowly.
There are many interesting moments with Yangleduo. It gets very excited when playing, and its serious appearance makes people laugh. Sometimes, from a certain angle, it even looks a bit like the star Li Xian. This unexpected similarity makes me find it even more adorable. It is also very clean – loving and will wash its face by itself. However, sometimes its face – washing actions seem a bit clumsy.
In the days of getting along with Yangleduo, I have felt the unique charm of cats. Its obedience, cuteness, and clinginess make me love it more and more. As a new cat owner, I was originally worried that I couldn’t take good care of it, but the arrival of Yangleduo has made all my worries disappear. It is like a little angel, bringing endless joy and company to my life. I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with Yangleduo in the days to come, witnessing its growth, and accompanying it through every happy moment.
