In my warm home, there is a cat like a bright star. Its name is October. With its extremely high appearance value and unique personality, it has become the focus of the family and brought endless joy and warmth to our lives.
October’s appearance is so amazing that when we first saw it, its chubby little body was like a furry snowball, extremely cute. Its fur is as white as snow, shining with a soft light under the sunlight. A pair of big eyes are like two bright gemstones, always shining with curious light, as if full of the desire to explore everything around. As time goes by, October gradually grows up. Its appearance not only doesn’t decline at all but becomes more and more handsome and charming. Every time it inadvertently shows a small look in its eyes, it seems to carry a unique charm, making people can’t help but want to take a few more glances.
October has an extremely strong sense of curiosity. It wants to smell and explore everything in the world. Whenever there are guests at home, it always rushes up especially eagerly and smells the guests’ trouser legs first. Its eager look is as if it is saying, “Let me get to know this new friend quickly!” Because of this move, I was once criticized for being less polite than a cat. However, October still goes its own way and continues its enthusiastic “social” way. Once, there was an argument downstairs, and the sound reached our home. October immediately pricked up its ears and opened its eyes wide, as if saying, “Let me see who is being unreasonable?” Its appearance was really hilarious.
October is very smart and has a strong learning ability. It learned how to use the litter box after being taught only once and has never caused us any trouble in this regard since then. When we call its name, it will also respond obediently with a “meow”. Its clear cry seems to be greeting us. However, as it grows up slowly, it seems to become a bit “aloof”. Now when we call its name, it often completely ignores me, as if it doesn’t have a name at all, which makes people angry and funny at the same time.
October is also full of curiosity about TV programs. It often stares intently at the TV screen, watching the pictures changing inside. From time to time, it tilts its head, as if thinking about something. It also likes to observe everything around secretly. It quietly hides in a corner and watches the movements in the house with its sharp eyes. Once it finds something new, it will immediately run over to explore.
In addition to being curious about various things, October is also very friendly to other cats. When the new member, the little tabby cat May, came to our home, October was full of curiosity. It neither arched its back to show its power nor fought or growled at May. Instead, it carefully approached May, wanting to be friends with it. However, surprisingly, October is always “dominated” by May. May is lively and active, always jumping up and down in the house, while October seems a bit simple – minded and honest, allowing May to play around it. Compared with May, October is indeed much fatter. Its chubby figure makes people want to reach out and touch it when they see it.
The origin of October’s name is very simple. Because it was born in October, we named it October. Similarly, May got its name because it was born in May. However, this way of naming was complained by my dad for being careless. But for us, these names are full of meaning. They represent the special moments when the cats came to our home.
October also has a cute feature. It doesn’t like to meow like other cats but hums and chirps every day. Its unique cry sounds very gentle. Every time I hear it, my heart seems to melt. Whether it’s the humming when it acts coquettishly or the soft humming when it wants to attract our attention, they all make us feel its deep dependence and love for us.
October, this charming and curious cat, has become an indispensable member of our family. With its appearance, curiosity, intelligence, and friendliness, it has brought us countless joys and touches.
