My Feline Family: A World of Unique Personalities

In my warm home, there lives a lively feline family. Each of them has a unique personality, adding endless colors and joys to my life.

Let’s first get to know the members of the family. Among the two cats above, on the left is the mother, Liangliang. She is 6 years old, and the years have precipitated an elegance and calmness in her. On the right is the father, Mozi. At 2 and a half years old, he is in his prime and full of vitality. Among the two kittens below, on the left is the eldest sister, Duoduo, and on the right is the youngest sister, Yaya. Unfortunately, their younger brother has been sold. These two sisters haven’t been sold due to various reasons and are now half a year old. Since they couldn’t be sold, I decided to keep them by my side and take good care of them, making them an indispensable part of my life.

However, this is not all the cats in my family. There is also a special cat named Tuotuo. Tuotuo is 3 months older than Duoduo and Yaya. When it was born, it was the only baby in that litter. It was born in the middle of the night, and I didn’t notice it at that time. It was not until I got up in the morning that I found it was almost out of breath. It was the cold February. I was extremely anxious and quickly held it in my arms, trying to warm it with my body temperature. I also laid an electric blanket in its little nest. After 3 long hours of effort, it finally came to life. But new problems came one after another. Tuotuo couldn’t nurse. Helplessly, I could only squeeze the milk into a syringe and then carefully and forcefully feed it into its mouth. I repeated this difficult process for the first 3 days. Until the 4th day, Tuotuo finally learned to nurse by itself. Although its life was saved, perhaps the tribulation at birth had an impact on it. Tuotuo has a very poor sense of balance and often falls. It looks silly. However, a silly cat also has its own blessings. It is extremely cute and always makes me laugh with its naive appearance.

After raising these 5 cats, I deeply experienced the different feelings brought by the unique personalities of each cat. Liangliang and Yaya have very similar personalities, both being very aloof. They don’t like to be forcibly picked up, but they are willing to stay in the same space as you. When they are in a good mood, they will take the initiative to run and sit on your lap, enjoying a moment of warmth. But if you pick them up against their will, they will struggle desperately and quickly run away in less than half a minute. Moreover, these mother – daughter cats don’t like to meow. They rarely make a sound on weekdays. So every time I hear them meow once, I will be extremely happy, as if I have heard the most wonderful sound in the world.

Duoduo is a lively and active little guy, full of curiosity about everything around. It is always jumping up and down at home, exploring every corner, bringing a lot of vitality and energy to the house. Mozi, as the father, has a strong body and a lively personality. It likes to play with other cats and will also act coquettishly to me from time to time, seeking attention. And Tuotuo, although it has a poor sense of balance, its silly and cute appearance makes it the happy fruit of the family. Every time it falls and every confused expression of it can make me laugh.

In the days of getting along with these cats, I have harvested full warmth and touches. Although they have different personalities, they all bring me unparalleled companionship. Whether when I am tired or when I am happy, they are always silently by my side, expressing their love for me in their own way. I am very fortunate to have such a loving feline family and look forward to creating more beautiful memories together in the days to come.
