My Cat – filled Life: Stories of a Loving Feline Family

In my life, cats are like bright stars, illuminating every ordinary day and forming a unique world full of love and joy.

Let’s first talk about the interesting combination of Liangliang and Mozi. Every night, Liangliang and Mozi will quietly jump onto the bed, find a comfortable place at the end of the bed, and fall asleep quietly. They don’t make any noise and often sleep until noon, as if the hustle and bustle of the whole world has nothing to do with them. Mozi can be regarded as the “chubby” among the cats. It weighs a full 11 pounds, and its round appearance is like a furry snowball. If it accidentally lies on me at night while sleeping, I, who am asleep, will be woken up by its weight. It’s really too heavy! Duoduo and Yaya are completely different. They are full of energy and too noisy at night. In order to let everyone sleep well, we can only lock them in the cage. However, sometimes when I wake up in the morning and see their eager looks, I will feel soft – hearted, let them out, and then go back to bed and lie down. Thus, that warm and interesting scene appears.

Mozi, as the “child – bride – in – law”, has a special experience. When Liangliang was 4 years old, in order to make it no longer lonely, I brought Mozi, who was only over 2 months old at that time, home to accompany it. Unexpectedly, Mozi was “bullied” by Liangliang since childhood and was beaten all the way until now. Even though Mozi’s weight is almost twice that of Liangliang now, as long as Liangliang growls, it will immediately become obedient and submissive, being very timid. Mozi especially loves to “talk”, forming a sharp contrast with the aloof and taciturn Liangliang. Every time I come back home after going out, it will greet me at the door and meow happily when it sees me; if it is beaten by Liangliang, it will immediately run to me and meow pitifully to confide; when the cat food is finished, it will come to me and meow eagerly to remind me; even when it is sleeping on me and I move a little because my foot is numb, it will raise its head and meow at me, as if expressing its dissatisfaction. I always thought Mozi was talkative enough, but when its daughter Duoduo was born, I really saw what a “chatterbox” was.

The origin of the cats’ names is also full of fun. The name Duoduo is really appropriate. It not only talks a lot but also eats a lot, and its body is chubby, so it is called Duoduo. Yaya, on the contrary, is like a little mute. It doesn’t like to meow on weekdays, so it has this simple and appropriate name.

Look at that warm scene. Mozi, the father, takes his two daughters, Duoduo and Yaya, to watch the birds by the window. From left to right are Mozi, Yaya, and Duoduo. The picture is full of childlike fun. And Liangliang, the mother, still maintains her aloof posture and is not interested in such activities, enjoying her own quiet time alone.

Duoduo, this little chatterbox, meows non – stop. It meows when you hold it, when you touch it, and if you ignore it, it meows even more. Every morning, if I don’t let it out of the cage in time, it will shout non – stop, as if protesting against my “imprisonment” of it. It is extremely clingy. As long as it meows twice, it will obediently let you hold it in your arms and let you stroke it casually. Its appearance is so cute.

Tuotuo, this special cat, is now the honorary manager of my murder mystery reasoning store, the Divine Cat Detective Agency. Although it is respected as the “Divine Cat”, in fact, it is not “divine” at all. Instead, it is a bit silly. However, its character is extremely good. No matter who touches it or holds it, it won’t get angry. Its soft and cute appearance makes people can’t help but want to get close to it. When it sleeps on me, it can pose in various strange postures and basically has no temper, just like a quiet little angel. Even when it was taken out at Christmas, facing the strange environment, although it was a little scared, it was still very obedient, making people feel sorry for it.

During the process of raising cats, there are more and more cats. Liangliang was originally a stray cat that I adopted when I was in college. At that time, I didn’t know which family it ran out from. Since I couldn’t find its owner, I decided to adopt it myself. Later, I was afraid it would be lonely, so I bought Mozi back to accompany it, and then there was Tuotuo. The kittens were so cute that there was another litter with Duoduo. Originally, 4 kittens were born, but unfortunately, one baby was accidentally crushed to death by Liangliang the next day after birth. When they were 5 months old, the younger brother was sold. Now there are 4 cats at home and 1 Tuotuo in the store. Although raising cats is happy, there are also troubles. Looking back on the bits and pieces of getting along with these cats, every moment is full of love and warmth. Their existence makes my life rich and colorful. Even though there are troubles, I am extremely happy. I hope that in the days to come, we can continue to be together and create more beautiful memories.
