In my life, there is an extremely cute and full – of – personality little member, and it is my cat. Its presence makes every day of mine full of warmth and joy, and at the same time, brings a lot of funny little episodes.
The most prominent feature of this cat is that it is extremely clingy. Every day when I come home from work, as soon as I reach the door, I can see its small figure waiting there. As soon as the door opens, it immediately circles around me cheerfully, rubbing its body against my legs and making soft meowing sounds, as if acting coquettishly, asking for hugs, pats, and even kisses. When I go to the toilet, it doesn’t stay idle either. It keeps scratching the door outside and meowing non – stop, as if it’s afraid that I’ll forget it outside. At night, it is even more unceremonious. It must sleep on my pillow. So, every night, I have to stage a “pillow war” with it.

It is also a complete glutton. I once suspected that it might have the genes of an orange tabby cat, or perhaps it was a little pig in its previous life. As long as it sees me eating something, no matter what I’m eating, it will immediately come over and meow at me, begging for food. Moreover, every night before going to sleep, it must have a meal, as if this is its unshakable bedtime ritual.
However, this little glutton is also a picky eater at the same time. At first, I fed it the Natures Gift cat food recommended by the pet store owner (I think it’s probably this name, not very sure). Later, when there was a promotion for Orijen cat food on Taobao, I bought a bag. Unexpectedly, after tasting Orijen cat food, it was not willing to eat the original cat food properly. Now, I can only mix the two kinds of cat food and feed it, but every time it can accurately pick out the Orijen cat food in it and eat it first. Only when it’s really hungry will it eat the remaining cat food.
Fortunately, it has an extremely good temper. Once, I accidentally stepped on its tail. It just let out a soft cry and quickly ran away. But as long as I go over and gently stroke it and hug it, it will be coaxed immediately and won’t hold a grudge at all.
Recalling the time when I first brought it home, it was still a cute little thing. It especially liked to lie on me and sleep. Its cute appearance could almost melt people’s hearts. As it gradually grew up, in summer, it was relatively hot at home. The tea table was made of stone and was relatively cool, so it especially liked to lie on the tea table and sleep during the day. Sometimes, when it fell asleep, I would playfully use it as a phone holder, and it had no complaints and still slept soundly.
It also likes to be held and lie on people’s shoulders. I guess probably because this perspective is relatively high and it can see a different view. Once, when I was reading a book in bed, it was lying sprawled beside me. When I gently tickled it, its little tail wagged from side to side, which was very interesting. A few days ago, I took it out to pick up its cat mother from work and buy food by the way. When we went outside, it was so scared that it huddled into a ball, tightly shrinking on me and not daring to get down at all. Its timid appearance was completely different from its usual self.
It also has a special hobby. It likes boxes and cartons more than its own cat bed. The cat tree at home has basically no attraction for it. Unless there is food on it, it will reluctantly go up and play. Most of the time, it seems to be able to understand what I say, but it will respond to me according to its mood, which is particularly interesting. Take its ID photo for example. In the photo, it seems to be telling its cute and quirky daily stories.
Although this cat sometimes brings me some small troubles, its cuteness, clinginess, gluttony, pickiness, and good temper all constitute its unique charm. It has become an indispensable part of my life, bringing me endless joy and warmth. I also look forward to continuing to create more interesting memories with it in the days to come.
