In my warm little home, a new member has arrived who is overly lively and makes me love and “hate” at the same time – Tangyuan. This cute little cat has completely changed the rhythm of my life since it stepped into the house, bringing a series of hilarious stories.
As soon as Tangyuan arrived in the house, after eating the cat food, it started running around the house like a wild horse that had broken free from its reins. When I reached out to stroke it, it not only didn’t hide at all, but I could even turn it over and touch its belly, and it obediently let me do it. At that moment, I thought it would be a gentle and obedient little cat. However, reality soon gave me a “head – on blow”. It seems to regard hands as the most interesting toys in the world, biting and scratching my hands from time to time. I tried to correct it and prepared various toys for it, but its attention was still firmly fixed on my hands. It stared straight at my hands, and once there was a chance, it would pounce on me and hold my hands to bite and play.
Helplessly, I changed to a long – stick cat teaser and tried to keep my hands as far away from it as possible. Only then did the situation improve slightly. But even so, when on the bed, as long as it saw my hands, even if I didn’t tease it, it would, like discovering a new continent, unhesitatingly pounce on me, take a bite, and then quickly run away, leaving me sighing helplessly. In order to make it get rid of this bad habit, I tried various methods. I spanked its bottom, gently patted its nose, and even hit its head in a hurry. I also put my finger into its throat to make it feel nauseous so that it would no longer bite hands. But all these efforts were in vain, and it still did as it pleased. In the end, I could only try my best to avoid contact between my hands and it. But I didn’t expect that this was just the beginning of the “troubles”.
In addition to biting hands, Tangyuan has another headache – causing habit. Whenever I walk, it always follows closely behind me. When I’m not paying attention, it suddenly hugs my leg and starts biting. If I stop, it will become even more aggressive, hugging my slippers and trying to bite my toes. Day after day, my hands were bitten until they peeled. My hands were originally relatively dry, and after being bitten by it, they became even rougher, and finally started to peel. As a result, when I use my phone now, for all functions that require fingerprint unlocking or payment, I can only use passwords, which really brings a lot of inconvenience to my life.
However, Tangyuan doesn’t only have a naughty side. It has an extraordinary dependence on people, which is both touching and a bit overwhelming. As soon as I open the door and prepare to go out, it will definitely run to the door and meow non – stop. Its meows seem to be telling of its reluctance to part with me and the grievance of being left behind. Even if I just go to the toilet and will be back in a while, it can’t bear the separation for a moment. Sometimes, it is clearly sound asleep on the bed. I get up carefully, open the door, and just as I turn around to close the door, I find that it has woken up somehow and is squatting in the corner of the bed, looking at me with a resentful expression. Its little eyes seem to be questioning why I want to leave it. Several times, I managed to enter the toilet smoothly. Before I had been there for 5 seconds, I could hear its loud howls. Each howl was like a heavy hammer, hitting my heart and making my heart jump suddenly.
Although Tangyuan has brought me a lot of troubles, whenever I see its furry little head, chubby body, and the occasional cute appearance, the dissatisfaction in my heart dissipates instantly. I know that it is just a lively little cat eager for company. During the process of getting along with it, although there are constant situations, it is also full of fun and warmth. Perhaps, this is the charm of having a pet. They break into our lives in their own unique way, bringing laughter and troubles, making our days rich and colorful. I believe that in the days to come, Tangyuan and I will gradually get used to each other, find a comfortable way to get along with each other, and create more beautiful memories together.
