On the wonderful journey of life, I welcomed an extremely precious little member – the cat Yuanbao. Her appearance, like warm sunshine, has illuminated every corner of my life and brought countless joys and happiness.
The first time I saw Yuanbao’s photos when she was a kitten, I was deeply attracted by her soft and cute appearance. In the photos, she was a tiny, furry ball, with eyes like bright gems, exuding innocence and cuteness. Unfortunately, at that time, I hadn’t met her yet and couldn’t witness her tender childhood in person. When I finally brought her home, she was already a 4 – month – old female cat.
I thought she would be unfamiliar and scared of the new environment. However, the facts were completely beyond my expectations. On the first day she arrived home, she showed no signs of being shy at all. The common situations where cats hide under the sofa and refuse to eat or drink when they first come to a new home didn’t happen to Yuanbao. As soon as she got off the ground, like a brave little guard, she started patrolling everywhere, walking around the house, exploring this brand – new territory. At first, she didn’t let me touch her, but after a while, she became very affectionate. Not only did she let me stroke her, but she also allowed me to hold her in my arms. At that moment, I felt her trust in me.
The people at the cattery said that she had never kneaded before. However, on the first night she arrived home, Yuanbao started kneading on my arm. At first, her movements were gentle, as if she was testing the waters. Gradually, she became more and more involved and her strength increased. Since then, as long as I hold her in my hands, she will reflexively start kneading. Her cute appearance makes my heart almost melt. Usually, Yuanbao likes to curl up on my lap or stomach the most, watching TV with me. Sometimes, she even stretches out her paws and kneads in the air. I don’t know what kind of fun she finds in the invisible “milk”. Looking at her focused and cute appearance, I always can’t help but laugh.
During the process of growing up, Yuanbao is also constantly unlocking new skills. Before, she didn’t know how to play with the cat scratching post. At most, after digging the cat litter, she would sit on the cat scratching post for a while.
