My Lovely Bobo - The Joyful Time Brought by the Cat

My Lovely Bobo – The Joyful Time Brought by the Cat

In my warm little home, there lives an extremely adorable pet – the cat named Bobo. I still remember the first time I met it. It was a soft sunny afternoon. My friend carefully held a small cardboard box in his hands, and inside was Bobo. At that time, it was really petite, curled up in the corner of the cardboard box, looking at this strange world timidly. When I gently picked it up, at that moment, I felt that it was mysteriously like a little fox. With its pointed ears, lively eyes, it exuded an air that made people feel affectionate.

Bobo’s personality is really interesting. It is simply a curious baby. Whenever there is the slightest stir in the house, it will definitely rush over to check at the first time. Once, a little bird perched on the windowsill outside, chirping a few times. Bobo, which was lazily lying on the sofa originally, was instantly like being under a magic spell. Its ears perked up, its eyes sparkled, and it rushed to the window with a “whoosh”. It stared intently at the little bird and even pawed at the window from time to time, as if it wanted to have a cross-species communication with the bird. But it is also very timid. Once it sees a stranger, the originally brave and exploratory spirit disappears without a trace in an instant. Like a frightened child, it immediately runs back to its little nest and hides, only showing a pair of eyes, vigilantly observing the situation outside.

As the days go by, Bobo has grown up gradually, and it has also shown a unique hobby – it has a special love for getting into bags. As long as its clever little eyes catch sight of a plastic bag, it will rush over without hesitation and then get into it at lightning speed. No matter the size of the bag, it can always skillfully curl up inside, only showing a small head. That look seems to be declaring to the whole world: “This is my exclusive little castle.” Once, I came home from shopping and casually put the plastic bag with the things I bought on the ground. In the blink of an eye, Bobo had already successfully settled in. It was comfortably wriggling its body inside and occasionally making a contented purring sound. It was really cute.

When it comes to Bobo, I have to mention its ridiculous gluttony. Some people ask if keeping a cat will affect studying. For me, the answer is definitely yes! Look at its little eyes. Whenever I sit at the desk ready to study, it will jump onto the desk and rub its head against my hand. Its big watery eyes seem to be saying, “Master, play with me for a while.” If I ignore it, it will directly lie on the book, blocking my sight. Moreover, it is full of strong curiosity about all kinds of food and wants to taste everything. Once I was eating corn. It smelled the fragrance and immediately rushed over, squatting at my feet, staring straight at the corn in my hand and meowing continuously. I couldn’t resist it and gave it a small grain. It immediately picked it up and ate it with a smacking sound. The way it ate with great relish was as if it was tasting some peerless delicacy. The most hilarious thing is that once I was about to write. Before I knew it, I found that it was nibbling on my pen. The way it was so serious seemed to be saying, “This thing looks delicious too.”

Coming home from work every day is the happiest moment of my day. Because Bobo will always wait for me obediently at the door. As soon as it hears my footsteps, it will run over cheerfully, meowing in a milky voice, circling around me non-stop, rubbing its soft body against my legs, as if telling the longing of the whole day. Recently, a new member has joined our family, a Garfield cat. We named it Lentil. Since Lentil came, I have increasingly found that Bobo is smart and clever. Lentil doesn’t seem to be interested in anything else except eating and is lazy all day long. But Bobo is different. It can find its own fun, interact with us, and also play some small tricks. For example, it knows how to bring its toy in front of us and signal us to play with it; it will also jump onto the sofa when we are watching TV, find a comfortable position to curl up in, and enjoy the leisure time with us.

Bobo is like a little sun in my life. With its cuteness, curiosity, gluttony, and cleverness, it has added countless joys and colors to my life. It is not only a pet but also my close family member, accompanying me through every ordinary and beautiful day.
