Ma Tuan: My Charming Silver Shaded Cat Companion

Ma Tuan: My Charming Silver Shaded Cat Companion

In my warm little home, Ma Tuan, as the “second child”, occupies an important place in my heart with its unique charm. This 5 – and – a – half – month – old silver shaded British Shorthair cat is like a gentle little angel, bringing endless joy and warmth to my life.

Ma Tuan is really very well – behaved. Compared with the “eldest” in the family, the lively and clever black tabby rural cat, it has the docility and clinginess unique to pet cats. Wherever I stay in the room, Ma Tuan will always silently follow and stay quietly by my side. Its meow is soft and small, as if it is afraid of disturbing everything around. Moreover, Ma Tuan’s reaction is sometimes a bit slow, often causing some hilarious little episodes. Once, I caught it about to do something “naughty”, such as scratching the sofa or knocking over things on the table. I quickly picked it up and placed it in another place. At this time, Ma Tuan would sit blankly in the new position for a long time. After a while, it seemed to suddenly remember what it was going to do just now. Its confused look was really both annoying and funny, making me want to reach out and touch its head.

Ma Tuan also has a characteristic that surprises me very much. It is not afraid of strangers and can even be taken out for a walk. Every time I take it out, it behaves very calmly, looking around the world curiously, but not panicking because of the strange environment. It gracefully takes small steps, following beside me, attracting the attention of many passers – by. Everyone praises this lovely little guy.

Although Ma Tuan likes to stick to people, in terms of communicating with people, it really is not as active as the eldest. Except when it comes to mealtime, when it will actively run over, rub against my legs, and meow eagerly to show its hunger, at other times, it often does not take the initiative to interact with me. However, this does not affect its love for me. As long as I sit on the sofa or lie on the bed, Ma Tuan will jump up lightly, find a comfortable position, and lie quietly beside me, warming me with its body temperature, perfectly interpreting the phrase “if I like you, I will stick to you”.

The appearance of silver shaded British Shorthairs has always been highly praised, and Ma Tuan is no exception. Its eyes are like deep gemstones, bright and beautiful, exuding a charming light. When it stays still quietly, it is like a delicate doll, exuding an elegant temperament all over. Its soft fur, with a silver – gray gradient color, feels extremely smooth to the touch, making people love it at first touch. It can be said that Ma Tuan’s appearance is its biggest “weapon”, making people fall in love with it at first sight.

Of course, Ma Tuan also has some small flaws. For example, it especially likes to drink toilet water. Every time I find it lingering by the toilet, I feel very helpless. Although I have tried many times to correct this unhygienic habit, Ma Tuan seems to have a special obsession with toilet water. However, compared with its cuteness and good behavior, this small flaw is insignificant.

Recently, Ma Tuan has a bit of black chin. To help it recover, I put an “Elizabethan collar” on it, that is, the Elizabethan collar that looks like a chrysanthemum. With the collar on, Ma Tuan’s movements become a bit clumsy, and it looks even more adorable. It tries to scratch the collar with its paws from time to time, but always in vain, and can only look at me pitifully, as if asking me for help.

Ma Tuan, this lovely silver shaded British Shorthair cat, although it has not been in my home for a long time, has already become an indispensable part of my life. Its gentleness, docility, clinginess, and high appearance level have made me deeply fall in love with it. I look forward to growing up with Ma Tuan in the future, witnessing more of its cute moments, and creating more beautiful memories.
