Unexpectedly in life, a cute cat barged into the world of my boyfriend and me, bringing endless joy and surprises to our lives ever since. It comes from a litter of kittens born to a female cat at my boyfriend’s uncle’s house. Before welcoming it, I was full of worries about the unknown situations of having a cat. I heard that kittens might make a lot of noise early in the morning, and this one was even said to wet the bed, which made me a bit nervous.
However, the reality was quite different from my concerns. On the first morning after Miaomiao came to our home, it did meow a few times around five or six o’clock. But once it found out how to get on the bed, there was no more early – morning noise. It always quietly lies at the foot of the bed, patiently waiting for us to wake up naturally. During weekend lie – in times, it never disturbs us. It plays by itself happily. Only when it’s noon and we still haven’t gotten up will it gently jump onto the bed and meow a few times, reminding us that half of the new day has passed. Such a well – behaved and sensible cat really surprised me.
On the first day it arrived, Miaomiao indeed didn’t pee in the litter box. But we promptly let it smell the place where it had peed and gently patted it as a punishment. Amazingly, since then, it has never peed randomly again. It quickly learned to use the litter box and became a clean – loving good baby.
Now, coming home from work every day has become the moment I look forward to the most. As soon as I open the door, I can see Miaomiao lying at the door, exposing its belly openly, looking at me expectantly, asking for a pet. Its coquettish and cute appearance, rubbing against my legs for a while and making soft meows for a while, really takes the “being naughty” to the extreme. It makes me forget the fatigue of the whole day in an instant. My eyes are full of its lovely figure. Every day, I can’t wait to get off work early just to go home and play with the cat as soon as possible.
Miaomiao’s daily life is also full of fun. It often gets into the laundry basket, as if it has found a mysterious little nest, and poses in various enchanting sleeping positions inside, which makes people laugh. Once when I was using the toilet, it even boldly ran onto my lap and nestled comfortably, as if that was its exclusive throne. I still keep the photos of it when it first came to our home. At that time, it was extremely cute, a small ball, full of cuteness. Although it has grown up a bit now and lost some of the childish cuteness of its infancy, it has gained a unique charm and is still so cute that I can’t put it down.
In general, the arrival of Miaomiao has made me deeply experience the joy of having a cat. It is well – behaved and sensible. It can interact with us heartily when we want to play with it, and it can also stay alone quietly when we are busy, without making any noise. Its company is like the warm sun in winter and the gentle breeze in summer, warming and soothing our hearts just right. I am extremely glad that we accepted it at the beginning. It has already become an indispensable part of our lives, adding full warmth and happiness to our home.
