Zhiming, male, just turned five months old, acts like a dog—clingy and loves being petted.
The photo above is a recent one. He’s already a little chubby, lying on his brother’s pillow, looking at me gently, then coming over to nuzzle my face with his nose. So sweet.
Spending weekends at home with him, his poses are just too sassy. On a lazy afternoon, Zhiming is fast asleep while I work on my monthly report.
Playing with a feather wand on the chair—he looks like he’s grown a bit.
This little guy loves playing with water. He always spills his drinking water everywhere and knocks over his bowl… I bought an automatic water fountain, but… well, he just plays with it even more. A bowl suits him better. Come on, let’s take a selfie.

When he’s asleep, he’s an angel—soft and adorable. This was the night he stayed up late with me while I worked on a PPT. He slept soundly under my bed desk.
Another photo of Zhiming—love you!
Zhiming now recognizes his name and is very polite. Most of the time, he responds when I call him. Such a good boy!
He loves this little basin and has claimed it as his own without hesitation.
Recently, he’s had ongoing soft stool issues, which breaks my heart. We’ve seen the vet twice—once for probiotics and yesterday for anti-diarrheal medicine. I planned to give it to him this morning, but when I cleaned the litter box, his stool was normal! Haha, Zhiming is amazing.
During his stomach issues, I’ve been limiting his food, so he meows at mealtime as if complaining, “Not enough! Give me more!”
Luckily, he’s still full of energy and spirit, and when he’s playful, he can’t control himself.
This photo was taken when he was around four months old. His head and face were small, but his body was big. Even the vet said Zhiming is growing into a big boy.
Sitting so properly, half-squinting at me sprawled on the couch. My inner thoughts: “What? I work hard to earn money to take care of you, and I can’t even lie down for a bit?!” But in the end, I lost and quickly got up to take photos of Zhiming. Oh, hahaha…
“Quick, kiss my paw!”
Ignore the stray hair and focus on Zhiming’s handsome face. Zhiming: “Staring at you with my nostrils.”
His ears got inflamed, so he needed daily ear cleaning and medication. To stop him from scratching his ears, he had to wear a cone. Look at his noble demeanor. At first, I had no idea how to clean his ears properly, and every time I did, Zhiming would get upset and hide under the table. Only treats could cheer him up.
Looking at this little face every day is so comforting!
I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to write too much. Below are some unflattering photos of the same cat (cue music and applause).
Me: “Ming, I’m Technician No. 1. Remember to request me next time!”
Zhiming: “Meow~”
Only six months old but already looks like a grumpy old man. Are you convinced?
This……………
Other people’s cats look soft, cute, and sweet from this angle, but why does my Zhiming look… old and grumpy? It must be my photography skills… it must be…
When love runs deep, the teasing begins. Zhiming’s idol image is gone.
Sleeping like a superhero—Ming the Great!
So glamorous~
My soft and adorable Ming, I haven’t seen you in almost half a month. I miss you!
Finally, I think Ming loves me, and I love my Ming.
Kung Fu “Panda” Zhiming.
His mischievous antics before neutering.
Still as sassy post-neutering (he was neutered on August 12th, and the vet took a photo of his “souvenirs”).
A blurry yet glamorous photo of my blue boy, Ming.
Ming is growing up and starting to look like a proper British Shorthair. At eight months, he’s almost nine pounds… scary…
On September 2, 2018, I took some portrait photos of Ming. Autumn is here…
Winter Solstice, but it’s still hot~
My big-eared Tutu—oops, I mean big-eared Ming’s recent photo.
Gently touching Ming’s little whiskers—he looks so street-smart.
I’m napping on the couch, and Ming is quietly watching me.
Recently, Guangdong had a one-week winter preview, and the temperature dropped. Ming had to sleep right next to my leg.
My Ming is just too adorable.
