Cats are silly and easy to raise, haha!
A few months ago, my grandma’s house happened to find one!
A big, chubby male cat. It wasn’t the first time I saw him at my grandma’s doorstep. Because my grandma’s family feeds stray cats (and neuters them when possible), the owner of Da Lao Hui (yes, my grandma’s house also has Da Lao Bai and Da Lao Huang, but Da Lao Hui is actually still a young cat) knew about our situation and dumped him at our doorstep. The first time, they were persuaded not to abandon him. The second time, when I saw him, they left him in the building again. Da Lao Hui has one ear that’s a bit deformed, like a fold, while the other ear is normal. He was covered in illnesses, likely abandoned because he wasn’t good-looking and had health issues.

My aunt is a very kind person. She bought medicine to treat him. I’ve also helped many times, so I’ve gotten a sense of Da Lao Hui’s personality. This cat seems a bit silly. The medicine for his nose requires inserting a dropper a little into his nose, and the liquid medicine can’t be comfortable, but this big cat has never tried to bite or fight back. He just struggles a bit, and he never pooped in the litter box (he’s better now). He sleeps in the litter box and poops on the bed… I have to say, it really stinks.
We’ve been applying medicine intermittently for a month (the medicine wasn’t interrupted, but my visits to my grandma’s house were sporadic). Da Lao Hui has never attacked anyone, only meowing pitifully. Because of his size, this cat is also very strong, and it takes one person’s full effort to apply the medicine, haha.
Although he seems silly, Da Lao Hui has a surprisingly strong sense of territory. The stray cats at my house (which are practically domesticated now) have all been driven out by him and haven’t dared to return for a long time. Dou Dou, the former boss of the house, is smaller than Da Lao Hui and doesn’t dare to show off in front of him. Now, things are a bit better, and some of the braver cats have started coming back.
He’s a huge eater. One cat can squat in front of the food bowl for a long time, otherwise he wouldn’t have grown so big, haha.
I’ve asked my family for photos and will post them when I get them.
I found a photo on my phone! He’s really not that good-looking, haha. Can’t compare to the handsome and beautiful cats in other answers, haha.
